Daily driver in the northern climates, I'd opt for the STI as the AWD is nice in the winter. If not, Mustang all day.

I vote number 11. I rode in one on Saturday, you can't definitely feel some vibration but nothing to write home about. I really wouldn't care but I can see some people complaining, especially on deceleration.

Not sure why people keep claiming a $5k difference in price. It's a $3900 difference between the 1SS and base GT and if you add the PP to make that performance gap between the two smaller, you're only talking $1400.

Alpha platform sucks because I said so. That's basically the summary of the last 3 pages.

I'd say that's more of a personal opinion than fact. Go to the bimmer forums and look at all the praise the alpha gets, and every single review of anything alpha already out there also praises the alpha platform. Time will tell, as the Camaro will sell more and raced more than the Cadillac's.

Of course the first one won't weight that, I'm sure GM will send a fully loaded 2SS so the magazines can rave about the gizmos. Same thing happened with the S550. The 3685 was was for a base 1SS. Do you think Caddy will be using the same materials as Chevrolet? I'm assuming less quality...
