I live just outside Portland, OR, and drive there regularly, as well as driving to and in Seattle on almost a weekly basis. Since I bought my car a couple days before Thanksgiving, I have seen 5 other 2015s on the road, including one parked, one that was clearly on a test drive from a dealer...
In theory, an automatic GT with 3.15 rear end and 27" tall tires would top out at 258.7 mph @ 7,000 rpm. In practice, I suspect that air would prevent that from happening.
A manual with 3.31 could hit 260.94, again at 7,000 rpm on 27" tires.
Those are calculated numbers, and don't account...
I am afraid not. There is a slot under there that you can put your key fob into if the *fob* battery is dead, in order to start the car. it apparently uses short range RFID technology to verify your fob.
I have had the rubber liner out of my cupholders, and there is no key slot down there on...
And to answer the original question: No. You can't start the 2015 Mustang with a physical key. The black "glovebox key" and the "blade keys" hidden inside the fobs are cut the same, and both will open the glove box and the driver's door (and the trunk on convertibles only), but there is no...
I created an Excel spreadsheet that calculates theoretical speeds for every transmission and axle combination at any given rpm and/or tire diameter.
I can make it available for download if anyone wants it.
Edit: Download from here
This info should be as accurate as the data that you...
As near as I can tell, there are 3 brake options for the 2015 Mustang:
The V6 and standard (non PP) EcoBoost get 12.6" rotors with 2 piston fixed calipers in the front, and 12.6" rotors with single piston calipers in the rear.
The standard (non PP) GT and the EcoBoost PP get 13.9" front...
I am really curious whether anyone whose car was built after the cutoff date on the TSB is experiencing this problem.
I have seen several people post that their dealer said that they couldn't duplicate, and weren't going to do anything about it - and several of those people were asked about...
I am not sure I understand your "exceptional output" comment. The fog lights are one of the very few things that I hate about my GT.
I have driven in heavy fog at night 2 or 3 times since I bought the car last November, and I can't see any benefit that they provide. I have tried turning them...
Are you sure it's "A" plan?
"A" plan is for employees of Ford. A dealership employee should get "D" plan, which seems to be comparable to "X" plan.
The information that I found when I was researching my car indicated that there is no price better than "A" plan. (Z Plan is for retired Ford...
Oh, thank god! I was afraid MY wife was the only Climate Control idiot in the world! I get so FREAKING TIRED of max cold until she is too cold, then heat until she is too hot, and then AC again....
I fixed that for you.
The car will always automatically downshift to keep you from lugging, but will never automatically upshift once you have used one of the paddles while in Sport mode.
It will happily let you bounce off of the rev limiter all day, until you either flick that right...
Yeah, I saw yours when you posted it. It really seemed like once it started, there was no stopping it.
When I recorded mine, I had been listening to it for at least 5 minutes as I idled along in heavy traffic, and probably had another 10 minutes after I stopped the recording.
I don't spend...
I seem to have had one of the worst examples of the brake squeal - I posted a video back in one of the early pages in this thread.
I had the TSB repair performed on April 7, and have put nearly 1,100 miles on it since then. So far, my car is completely quiet.
I ended up working from home...
I had the seat coolers on last week for the first time when it was actually warm outside, and happened to be wearing a lightweight shirt. It definitely blows cool through the seat back, but it can be hard to feel if you have layers on.
Here is what appears to be the text of the exhaust TSB:

Or New Jersey.
(Oregon passed a law a few years ago allowing motorcyclists to pump their own - finally! Unfortunately, that came almost two years after a dipshit pump jockey saturated my custom made Corbin seat with gasoline, and the station refused to even take a report)
15.795 - that was about 10 miles after hitting 0 miles to empty. I was really sweating because I was out in Eastern Washington on back roads. Sometimes that station you remember from last year isn't there anymore this year. And sometimes, it can be 30 miles between towns.
I guess I made it, so...
