Got delayed to March.

^ 285/35-19 contis. ^ 305/30-19 Michelins. They're too wide for the wheel IMO. Even with the fender flares.

Honestly, I think the 305s up front are almost too wide. There is a lot of fender poke on the HP wheels. I personally think 295s are the sweet spot. Note that the Contis have a more rounded edge compared to the PS4s that helps some.

The EC2s are every bit as good as the Michelines, and a little cheaper too. The problem is, they don't make 305/35 or 315/35.

I said I was on factory HP wheels. Both tires fit the wheels. So that's a non issue.

The grip on the Continental EC2s are comparable to the PS4s. So to clarify, I'm not talking about tread pattern, I'm asking specifically if the size difference is worth the swap.

Which insulators are you referring too? Are you talking about where the spring seats at the top? Pictures would be great.

I appreciate that but I bought the car with the springs already on the car. Product 555-8242. I still have the box and the OE spring. I did add your camber plates however.

I get that. But if it's not making noise, leave it alone and don't over think stuff. Change your oil as scheduled and enjoy your car.

Thanks. I'm actually going to Chuckwalla. And yes, I will have an instructor for at least the first two laps. I do not intend in pushing the car hard. I just want to have a good time. After doing some research and reading these responses, I'm not worried about the tires anymore. 👍🏻

I always thought that Ford increased the oil weight due to all the Coyote noise complaints. But that's just my idle speculation.
