I'm still holding off on installing mine until the wiring issues are sorted out, but I did manage to make some progress on getting the stock intake cover to fit. I still need to make some brackets to secure it, but as you can see it is certainly doable.

Everything can go. There should be 2 actuators, 2 solenoids, and 4 plugs that will be left unplugged.

Yes it was printed from that drawing. The chrome ring is removed as well as the horse. There is a lip that fits into the groove where the chrome ring was.

The airbag cover is held on with 6 "clips". They are actually protrusions that are made into the airbag and clip into the airbag cover. On the one that I designed it is only touching the airbag cover around the perimeter where the stock chrome ring is. I could design the pins to be stronger...

I am planning on using the imrc setup on mine, but had a few free minutes so I drew up some delete brackets and 3d printed them. Sure beats the ridiculous price of the $60 pieces.:cool: I'll already have them handy in case I decide to go the delete route.

Here's a pic of the first test piece that I printed to make sure everything was going to fit okay. Still haven't had the time to print my final piece.

Damn, Add me to the broken intake list. I received the intake today with one stud broken off and several of the ribs on the bottom broken off. :mad:

Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to mess around with it. The first full one I printed for a test fit was blank. I will try to get some pics of what it looks like with the blank cover.

There may be someone on here that will give you the imrc actuator. It seems that most guys are deleting it anyway

I'm not sure what held the stock headlights together but it looked nothing like the butyl that I purchased when I resealed mine.

The pins go through the stock mounting holes and are melted on the backside just like the stock emblem is.

There are pins on the back of it just like the stock one has.

The pins on the one that i printed will snap off under a bit of pressure.

I searched for a replacement and didn't come up with anything. I have seen a few people that have taped some different style homemade covers on but I didn't like the look of those. I decided to draw and 3d print my own. It will attach just like the stock logo. I still need to make a few...

I used butyl on mine about a year ago and have not had any moisture issues yet.

There are dealers selling them for around $243, but if you look above the sale price it will say list price $368.28. I'm sure its only a matter of time before we see a price increase though.

The intake has always been $368. Some dealers are just selling it cheaper than others.

Enabling nav works just fine if you have sync 2. I don't think that you can do it on sync 3 though.

Any updates on the sample center cap? Are there any plans to do a preorder special for these? :D
