nah man I totally agree, but like I said...when you break down what and how we chase its never a drag race. more of a waiting game till the pursuit gets cancelled, they crash, or ditch the car and foot bail. plus, unless its a stolo...not many people run in nice performance cars.
agreed. im 28, and i could easily afford a gt350r, but i wanted a car now(seen horror stories about ordering and delivery) and a DD that i can throw a turbo on and murder people on the street in a stock appearing car. personally, the base has more shit than i even want in a "drivers car." then...
I have the nt05r on my cobra and they are the best street tire ive used to date. I can make them hook in second with basically stock suspension on 800+rwhp. before, id spin at 120 with toyo proxes r888s and 555r.
I chose the base for multiple reasons. there are a fair amount of bells and whistles as compared to previous gen mustangs(mine in sig) and personally, I didn't love the options the premium had to offer. I hate the factory headunit and speakers, and will be going aftermarket anyway.
im...
I have used EVERYTHING and NT05R is the way to go. i have them on my 800+rwhp 04 and they hook quite well in most all conditions. i wont even mess with any other street tires besides these anymore
I wasn't aware we were talking about FI buddy. My 04 is still running stock cams at 800+rwhp and isn't ouchie annoying, but that's power adder, not NA... As we are taking about here. And my apologies for Dumbing down the concept of internal combustion engines for this tard-Laiden thread. Since...
Who the f said anything about rough running or bad smelling? Don't twist my words to make a moot point. An engine is an air pump. Bigger camshaft=more air. More air+more fuel means bigger boom. Bigger boom = more annoying ouchie noises on your ears.
Why have a performance car then?
That's like saying you want a hot wife, but don't want anyone to stare at her. If you wanna go fast... You are gonna be "annoying" as you put it
Thanks! I was dead set on making these fit because of the concave vs the et40. I'm gonna say that you can make anything for with enough camber.... But 275 might be the most at this ride height. And I have zero clue how much they weigh. I'll worry about wheel weight when I remove the power seats...
Mine are the anthracite, and I will absolutely be doing 275s here soon. No rubbing at all, in fact there's plenty of room, more if I adjust the camber and go lower.
ill keep my fingers crossed, because i was really hoping for some aggressive ones like i posted the link to. if not ill be making my own. already purchased a sheet of uhmw...now i need to find a mill to use
i completely understand that it needs to be raised a little for the play in the trunk when its being closed...but a few mm is understandable. nearly an inch is just ridiculous.
