    I run nitto nt05r on my 04 cobra with 800rwhp. still corners pretty well, and it will hook in 1st and 2nd in good conditions. I definitely wouldnt road race them...but you can rip corners. I also have ran toyo proxes r888, and those were pretty decent.

    the main issue with concavity on the rear vs the front is the way our cars are setup from the factory. the front is designed to run a lower offset wheel(which gives more concavity in theory) and the rears have a very high offset by comparison(usually much less concavity)... for my setup I wanted...

    well, unfortunately I have found that level of "too much" with my 04 cobra. the car makes over 800rwhp and 760tq, and it hits nearly instantly with the whipple and e85. Yes, I COULD make the car hook straight line better by going solid axle, 90/10s and drag springs ect...but I have minimal mods...

    Because now I know 10.5s fit square with a much more aesthetic and even concave(in my wheel model at least vs the x10 et40), and I can run 275s even 285s as you stated, without issues, and go even lower than your average mustang driver. I also can widen my inner section of the rears another 1.5"...

    take a look at my thread if you wanna see the 10.5s et30 out back. its flush...rim lip poking out about 3mm on 1.5* camber, way more with less camber. they are aggressive, and most people don't like the look. @Roh92cp has a solid setup that works well and doesn't poke too much. if you want low...
