I was planning on driving my car till end of October but the way the weather has been hovering around 8-20C I may be putting it away sooner. I just wash it, take the battery out, put the cover on and park it till April.
Canadian cars are metric and since I got the car in April my fuel usage is 12/100km but I mostly drive it in the city--my wife used the cars for a couple of days and I was amazed to see the usage drop to 7.1 and the KMs to empty was close to 700--mine is an Ecoboost with not quite 5000kms.
I couldn't wash my car for a week because we had some nasty cold wet weather and today I had to dig Maple Keys out of the channel behind the front and rear windows. It didn't take long for the buggers to get really wet and mushy. Stuff like that is what blocks drain holes--I heard of 05-14...
The radio and HVAC controls are the exact same but the start button and toggle switches have been flipped--the hazzard switch is still closest to the button--and the PRNDS graphics have been moved to the right hand side. I'd like to see one with the hood open to see what they had to change under...
My buddy has a 2015 Mustang GT and just bought a WRX to use as a daily driver--I had a test drive and was very impressed with the performance--the interior didn't have the big screen for the back up camera but was still very nice. Frankly I liked it but our Mustangs are not daily drivers so we...
The install went very well, the online video is very helpfull. My mistake was not allowing enough time for unseen consequenses--I finished the job just in time to have to leave for work and reallized the Brake Warning Light and the Hood is Ajar messages were on, I know the hood was closed and...
I got an e-mail from Amazon today to say this book is finally shipping Sept 15--I ordered the thing back in July 2014. I'm hoping the delay has been to include as much GT350 information as possible.
I have been on car forums now for over 10yrs and never heard anyone gripe about panel alignment until I joined this one.
:shrug::shrug:
I've been on Mustang boards since 2000 and I agree with you--I've never belonged to a forum that eats its own like this one.
I've wondered about how you guys do license plates--just from watching tv I've seen square, rectangle and even some that look like stickers. Are the plates premade there or are they made up when you buy them?
I don't understand these comparisons--these are two very different cars. I'd love to have either. I don't understand how anyone can think the Corvette styling is dated--911 styling goes back to 1963. I guess it comes down to two things--are you are Porsche type or Corvette type and how you want...
You just know lawyers co-write that stuff--check out the warning not to have peaple sit in the back of seat delete cars and how to tether a kids seat without a back seat.
