My wife still has her 05 Convertible, we have found over the years that here in Southern Ontario we get about 14 days of nice vert weather--the car is stored in the winter and when summer hits it's so hot and humid that we leave the top up and run the A/C. You got to remember to tip the seats...
51516 wix is the thinner version of the 51515, it fits Fords going back to the 80's. I've been selling filters for 30 years and I don't see how a couple of onces the 515 holds is going to make a difference.
Believe it or not a lot of the Cobra R's (93, 95 and 2000) were bought by people who saw them as future collectors items and garaged them. Some of them never had PDI done on them and still have plastic on the seats and such. I think its great these cars were saved for future generations to see...
Yes take the ground off first, if it touches any metal you will not get a short. If you take the positive off first and it touches metal you get sparks and worse.
I'm not sure if I do want to add a tune to my car but I was interested in what Ford could do compared to the many fine tuners on these pages but I don't thing Ford is going to go through with a Tuner.
I installed a CAI last fall and drove the car a few months before winter storage and I'm really thinking of going back to the stock air box with a K&N filter. I really like the induction sound but the whoosh sound of the POV is a little off to me. I got the CAI because I was planning on buying...
well how about, for the Mustang II haters add Pinto sales 1970 to 1980? Don't forget to add Barracuda sales to 70-74 Challenger sales. Why not Nova, Omega, Venture and Apollo sales to Camaro sales? The charts are comparing nameplate to nameplate.
If GM sold their trucks as one model they would have stopped Ford's consequtive sales record--and it looks in about 9-10 years from now Mustang 10,000,000 will be built
I think I paralell parked once with the 15 Mustang last summer and I couldn't tell you when the time ahead of that was. But the camera is the greatest for backing up--aim those lines to the middle of the garage door and go. There is a feature on the camera that gives a straight down view, that I...
Sorry for my ignorance but I just noticed your speedos are in MPH--Canadian cars have been metric since the 70's--weird. Also when we use to have gallons they were called Imperial gallons and were the same as 4.5L. The U.S. uses gallons but they about 3.8L. If Ford programmed the trip computer...
This is something that comes up in the aftermarket on older vehicles--if you keep replacing the belt and the chirp comes back it isn't the belts fault. Since these are new cars you eliminate a lot of reasons but since superchargers are involved you got to check pulley alignment--Dayco sells a...
I forgot to mention that when you sell your car here in Ontario if your ad says never winter driven you got a good chance of getting the money you want. When I sold my 01 Bullitt the guy that did buy it could not believe how factory fresh the car was underside and underhood after 13 years. He...
You guys from southern climates have no ideal how brutal winter is on a car. You got to scrape ice off the windows, ice and snow are brutal on paint, your wheel wells fill up with ice and salt. I have guys come in here with 6-8 year old vehicles with the brake and fuel lines rotted out--snow...
I used to worry about that on my daily driver but look at it this way--you are wearing out the winter tires but you are not wearing out your summer tires--if you keep the car for any amount of time you will be buying a second set of tires anyway. If we get the 40 some days of sub-zero temps like...
