Thank you! Chevy was running huge rebates on corvettes but once I got to the dealer and saw this Camaro, I had to have it. Put 20x12 wheels on all corners with 335/345 Michelins on it. The Chevy techs couldn’t believe they fit.
Ha, for some reason it’s impossible to get a pic that shows how truly wide tires are once on the car. But elsewhere on the internet I found a shot of 345 Michelins that does them justice...
Typo 335’s. Sitting flush on the stock suspension. The 345’s are out back. These things have crazy amounts of room.
There is s guy who got 345’s on the front of his Widebody Challenger on 11.5” wheels.
Stance SF03 20x12 on all four corners with MPSS 335/30/20 up front and 345 Michelins out back. Feels so planted and has such a massive amount of grip now. Love how this monster drives with the steamrollers installed.
You guys killed it on the widening projects. I’m putting my GTR wheel project on hold rather than jumping to the big spend on the widening. Best case, I was going to be $2,100 into it with the machining, widening, spacers, extended studs, etc.
When new sets of fully forged 20” wheels can be...
28.5” is about the height limit up front but in back 28.7” seems to be the max on stock suspension. Obviously this is assuming the offset is right to place the tall tire in the right spot in the wheel well.
What’s the maximum offset they can do on these?
I was pondering a 20x12 ET 60 with an increase in suspension side clearance by 1/4 inch with the Steeda shock mounts.
I'm looking at these for when my wheels get widened to 11.5” (they’re recommended for 11.5”-12.5” wide wheels). They’re 13.6” wide and 36.59 lbs but only $168 each. Was wondering if anybody had shoved them into the wheel wells of an S550 yet.
275/40/20 are just a hair too tall for the front but are okay in back. 265/40/20 are the tallest for the front at 28.36” but the tallest for the rear are 315/35/20 at 28.68” in diameter.
Sending wheels to weldcraft this week then got to get even more tires for the new wide rears. Not pictured but coming off of the car soon - 2 more 275/40/20 and 2 255/40/20.
In a month the only tires I have that will make the final configuration will be the 285’s pictured. Everything else will...
