On your M600 in 20x11, how much clearance is left on the suspension side? I’m curious because the 19’s in the 11.5” width sit around 12mm closer on the suspension side but still have room for 325 Michelins. Think a 20x11 offset 60 would work with a 325/35/20 Tire?
I popped the chrome plated running horse off of my grill with a flathead screw driver and may replace with a black one soon. I actually like the grill better as it is than I did with the chrome horse even though there is nothing in that horse shaped spot now
I’m looking to jump to 20’s but need to keep the per wheel weight under 25 lbs.
One option is to get a set of 4 front GTR wheels and have 2 widened to 11” by weldcraft. Before I get into all of that I wanted to see if there were lighter options out there for less than $1,600.
Yeah, just from driving the new car I felt it was down on power from the first one even before I raced the Jag. Both had similar break in procedures and 93 octane. You may be on to something with the DA and the boosted cars.
Yeah, my first one also took down a 2015 Panamera turbo from a 40 roll. Those do 12.1 s @ 118.7 mph. I do think the first car was just a freak. I’m starting to believe the stories about some stock 2018s that dyno 435+.
The weather on the first run against the jag wasn’t much different and the...
So I had an 18 auto GT that was bone stock except for wheels and tires. I never dyno'd the car but I ran it against my co-workers' cars (2015 Panamera Turbo and 2015 Jaguar F Type R). My first 18 GT auto pulled away just by a hair against the Porsche and was dead even with the F Type R (both...
They’re 12.25” wide or so? Any idea how many lbs they weigh? My Michelins are wider than I need and 32 lbs. I really want to get down to 53 lbs for each rear wheel+tire.
Man, I really want to see how it works and how much clearance you end up with. My 19x11.5 offset 56 were tight on the stock wheel well and you'll be 11mm closer if you just add the 2". That'll put you at a 20x12 ET 61 set up. You could run a Michelin 335 on there if they sell them in the...
This is my 2nd 2018 with the auto and I love it. In my youth I thought autos really wasted performance cars but the development of auto transmissions being the fastest available version has totally changed that.
My car lurches a lot at low speeds, especially when the transmission hasn’t warmed...
The Supra name shouldn’t be sullied by having it attached to a car that performs with a much lower set of peers. Anything carrying that name needs to run low 12’s or better to properly carry on the heritage in light of where cars are performing nowadays.
It’d be like SRT reintroducing the Viper...
I buy the basic GT with no options and slap on wide, light wheels and tires and they always handle incredibly. I think slapping on a super wide, quality tire is half the battle.
