Completely agree with the comments about keeping the OEM oil filter, but the oil itself is addressed in the owners manual supplement.... "Your engine has been designed to use engine oil that meets Ford specification or an equivalent engine oil of the recommended viscosity grade that displays...

Just curious what the specs are on Ford's 5w50 recommended for the GT350? API Rating? Not like Mobil 1 is a low-quality oil...

Stock up @ NAPA for a while... They've got all Mobil 1 for $5.99/qt this month, including 5w50.

Good to see that a set of Hoosier R7's are cheaper than Pilot Super Sports in that size! Easy to justify to the wife that you need slicks to save $$$ :D

We'd be glad to have you! Same here; I used to live in Lakeland before moving to the Atlanta area - probably have about 75-80 days at Sebring in the past 4 years.
