So I'm very curious to find out about what everyone has heard for GT350/R production for 2018 and beyond; several conflicting reports, but would be interesting to compile what people are hearing and from where/whom.
So far I have heard that the GT350/R will continue into the future...
Actually found it as one of the most useful features when driving it at Sebring during the Track Tour. Used that as a shift reference rather than the tach (I hate the speedo & tach gauge setup in the Mustangs... plz don't kill me) :D
Has an updated supplement been released with the new language regarding "timed" track use? Current one online (Ver 1) still says any track use will result in loss of warranty coverage.
I'm thinking something like the formula or prototype cars, tow point on the highest point of the car... an eye bolt through the roof of the GT350 should suffice :D:lol:
Bossing, for our Sebring event, I think you should run the entire Happy Hour session at the end of the day for "research purposes" to see just how long the Track Pack's can run at full song :headbang::D:cheers:
If the front bumper is reportedly not strong enough to support a tow hook, then the above mentioned aftermarket option may be a bad idea, as it mounts to the bumper...

And just like politics, IMSA can be bought, so that...
Mother of god. Every time a Black GT350 pops up on the forums, it knocks me back in my chair a bit. In some cases I feel that black "masks" some of the unique features of the GT350, but damn does it look sinister.
After having the unique opportunity to drive BOTH cars, the R and non-R at Sebring (was there for both days of the Track Tour), I can honestly say that the tires absolutely make the difference on track. Your average driver would not notice the difference between the showroom floor R and a Track...
