Would love to see some pics and any challenges you may have had.
I am temped to add these to my V6 as it comes with base brakes.
It has been proven that the GT brakes bolt onto the V6, however, I have not seen the 6 pot mounted onto a base model.
This would be good analysis, and rid...
Any conclusion on the hum @ 65mph? I am getting the same hum, very quiet, but I can certainly hear it with all the HVAC and controls off. No driveline vibration at all. Happens in any gear, 4th, 5th or 6th and neutral. Strange. Goes away if its 1 miles less or more than 65.
That is not a problem at all, why would you want to have a higher e brake engagement point? It will go up as the rear pads wear out.
I would leave it alone, as long as it fully disengages upon release.
That's not bad at all, great job. I will attempt to adjust shortly, and post pictures. The only bolts I will be adjusting are the four attached to the hinges on the trunk, and two on the front fenders for hood alignment.
If only it stopped raining...
19x9.5 is fine, I'm using 255/40 ZR 19 on 19"x8.5" AP Wheels. I decided on that with a square set up. That way I can rotate the tires every six months.
Cheers,
Nothing to worry about, its an unpainted piece of steel. This process is called "weathering". Take a look at your brake rotors or drive-shaft, both will have the same effect.
My GSD fits perfectly fine. Car is only a few days old, so it was her first time in there, I didn't get a chance to snap a pic. Here she is though...spoiled rotten.
