  1. Ecoboost and GT rear valance on V6

Oh, well that's certainly a bigger effort than I thought. I wont be venturing down this path. Thanks for the responses guys. Cheers,
  2. Ecoboost and GT rear valance on V6

Yesterday I was at the dealer and noticed that my V6 didn't have the rear valance that the GT and EB have. I think it looks great. I thought they all came with it, pardon my ignorance. Has anyone installed this part? I'm really considering it...
  3. Ford Racing parts for V6

Yes, buy whichever one is cheaper. Having the Ford stamp will give you less problems in the future at the dealer.
  4. Ford Racing parts for V6

Yep should be fine. Same mandrel bends and pipe size. In these links below are some axle backs that bolt onto both EB and V6. For some reason, Ford doesnt like to advertise V6 performance parts, it will hurt their bottom line on EB. EB is cheaper to manufacture, and provides higher GP. Roush...

  6. I wanna see the best V6's on this forum

I like it, sits very nicely in the wheel well. I'm assuming you remove the spacers when you go to the track, or use a different set of wheels and tires entirely?
  7. Someone at my work dinged my door...

Picture doesn't work for me, but if its a small door ding with no paint damage, just get PDR, it will be less than $200, and your premiums wont go up. Good luck, and park somewhere further away next time.
  8. My Ford Ownership experience (2015 Ford Fusion)

Read the entire story, I feel for you. You should be compensated for your time and given a new 2016 Fusion. Further to this, I can't believe the dealer would sell a crashed certified vehicle. That means that someone didn't inspect it, perhaps Ford should change their "Certified" standards. You...
  9. First oil change for first car. Dealership or private, and what else needs fixing?

I consider myself a very well mannered individual, honest and relatively calm. However, when being blatantly lied to, or ripped of, of course after doing research and seeing whats involved with any procedure I am being quoted, it really boils my blood. Good for you on installing the SC yourself...

  11. Has anyone deleted their catalytic converters?

Why would anyone want to gut cats if not running FI? Loud, smells terrible at stops, and provides no benefits.

    Looks great, whats the ET?

  14. Hum noise at exactly 65mph

Have you brought it to the dealer, if so what did they say?
  15. Hum noise at exactly 65mph

Is it possible that its the front grill, the way the air flows through the hood at that speed? Or perhaps the brake vents beside the fog lights? Perhaps it resonates at that speed. Similarly to blowing in an empty beer bottle, that's what it sounds like. Just a thought. I might try blocking...
  16. Wider tire on stock rims?

Widest I would recommend is 265 on an 8.5", you don't want really stretched tires on the track.
  17. Rear window poss fault.

My BMW had the same thing in the rear glass, predominantly seen while wearing polarized glasses. Easy fix = Tint windows.
  18. Hum noise at exactly 65mph

I don't know about that, tires dont "hum" but they can make noise. Another thread mentioned it could be panel alignment that makes the hum, and suggested to lower the hood adjustment knobs. I will try this once it stops snowing. (In April, lol) Cheers,
