  1. Wanted: MID 11's stealth recipe

98% of cars yes catback has no gains , this car actually by not much surprise gains a decent amount from a catback . Stock catback is the most restrictive, quietist garbage they could of put on. You've got a high revving 435 hp car with a 2 1/2 inch pipe going into a very heavy crap resonator...
  2. Boss Manifold Tuning *Dyno Inside*

Wouldn't get too stressed , yes the gears are different but it won't be drastically different in terms of pull. I don't feel that your low end tq would suffer due to gearing. Your not losing any power down low it will feel the same maybe a little faster until 4000 rpm after that you will be...
  3. For sale: JMS PEDALMAX

    Bump make offers
  4. New clutch, or trans swap?

RXT will destroy your tranny , clutch chatter could be the nature of McLeod I've heard a lot of guys having chatter. If you swap to the magnum it wouldn't be a bad idea but you'd probably want to change the rear gears, gears in tranny are a lot different so the car will feel slower
  5. Wanted: MID 11's stealth recipe

2000 dollar budget , gt350 manifold , 3.73 gears, catback exhaust, up the psi in front tires to 40 psi and lower the rear cookers to about 22 psi and do a good burnout , the pilot SS tires love heat. Then all you Need is Mother Nature to deliver good DA and your launch and shifts have to be...
  6. Need opinions please.

3.73 will get 60 ft down and especially if DA is good you will be seeing 11s brother
  7. Boss Manifold Tuning *Dyno Inside*

No build thread,I wish I had done one. I went from stock manifold with steeda cold air intake and catback Lund flex fuel tune. Car was strong ran its balls off, performance pack 3.73s , as soon as gt350 manifold came into play I was on it, heard no new motor mounts , no cutting the hood no loss...
  8. Low trap speed for current setup? Bad tune?

If you can get to another track near you go there, see what happens id imagine around 6800 to 7000 is best shift range for stock manifold and your mods , keep it in4th
  9. Boss Manifold Tuning *Dyno Inside*

I see no hood insulation and you have hood modification , great job on that though
  10. Boss Manifold Tuning *Dyno Inside*

As far as I've heard and seen the cobra jet makes flat out the most power, but like the boss manifold the hood needs to be modified or new engine mounts to lower the engine have to go in. Both eliminating the stock strut tower brace as well. GT 350 manifold makes almost as much power as cobra...
  11. Low trap speed for current setup? Bad tune?

Never ever ever shift into 5th, Lund ups the rev limit to 7500 stock manifold you got plenty of rpm to wind it out. If you ever didn't have enough rpm then get a taller tire. As for the low mph I don't know if your running street tires , based on ET looks like it but do yourself a favor and get...
  12. Boss Manifold Tuning *Dyno Inside*

Ask Iketh he's making power well into 7000+ rpm and shifting 7800 with stock manifold, ran 11.9 at 119 long tubes and catback street tires
  13. 11.998 street tires manual n/a

When will you have the CJ on the car? Looking forward to seeing the times you put out with that!
  14. Jeff Ashtons new BC Forged wheels - 345's on the rear.

Big difference between 315 and 345 and in summer weather or Florida weather all the time I guarantee with 345 pilots out back and 25 psi they will grab in second while moving. They are sticky tires , VMP got their gt350 to do a wheelie on stock 305 pilot super sports at the drag strip
  15. Jeff Ashtons new BC Forged wheels - 345's on the rear.

Absolutely, if he got 345 pilot super sports he would get traction even with blower dry weather 2nd gear on
  16. Jeff Ashtons new BC Forged wheels - 345's on the rear.

Car will be ok he's got minor damage , hope he learned his lesson on drag radials, get Michelin pilot super sports or something in 345 , he has a drag setup with JMS wheels no need to run drag radials like that in Florida
  17. Gains from Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft

Carbon fiber driveshaft is only I think 2 lbs lighter then aluminum, I spoke with Alex at American muscle about weight, makes no difference just go aluminum if you get it
  18. Official 1/4 Mile Fast List & Leaderboards (V8) - 2015+ Mustangs

Can anyone tell me the fastest recorded time for NA stock internal and stock exhaust manifolds? Like intake manifold , tb , cold air and catback? All the NA leaders have headers for clear obvious purposes but subtract the headers and I wonder what the times are
  19. Gains from Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft

A guy on the forum( Iketh )has a carbon fiber driveshaft , with only addition of a full exhaust 93 octane and ran 11.9 in quarter with street tires 275 width , I'm sure the driveshaft got him much better low end .
