At the end they had to carry .2 lbs/ci more than the BBC in prostock and Glidden still kicked their ass. Its why we have 500 ci now in pro stock. I wish it was still the old way, it was much more exciting and something you could relate to. They all look the same to me now.
I changed the clutch too, so it took longer, but it didn't make the header portion easier, I'd say the headers took me about 10 hours. I dropped a nut into the frame and that took awhile to find, and tore a ground strap connector off. I was on a rack too. It was a 1 1/2 -2day job all together.

That is about 480 crank for 118 mph. That DA adds about 8% hp so its about right. Also a 1.75 60' means that track is hooking for a street tire. The other one was 2.0 to 2.1 60', in positive DA.

They mentioned "only 17 more cubic inches" so I assumed 5.2.
Edit: it may have been mentioned in the block build up video of that motor, they ran it with a carb first and got about 585.
There is a video of a 5.2 crossplane making 625 flywheel, and its not that radical, but its the CJ manifold that got them there. Buy a spare hood and put a scoop on it, maybe 645???.
