That is what my buddy who runs a interior and trim shop said they used and recommended. My GF had a new top installed by insurance at a different shop. They also recommended the same stuff. We installed it in June of 2014 and there has been no reason to clean and reseal it yet. Great product.
Since he said "shot fired" I figured it was something with the pony under the hood as well. Probably something like this.
You know, because they didn't know about the 2016 Camaro SS yet.
A "plug & play" style trans cooler would be a nice option as well. Seems more and more guys are running higher rpm stall converters in these cars. They create more heat. Additional cooling for trans fluid would be nice to have.
It all depends on what the company has at their disposal. Most shops are going to have a chassis dyno as they are not going to take a engine out of the customer's car to put it on a engine dyno to test a different throttle body or cold air intake.
Where as a company making engine parts they...
It may be due to the tune? 91 octane as they are in cali? But like mentioned below, baseline numbers would have been nice. And how much are those limited losses of torque down low due to the tune or the intake design itself? Many questions still exist. Maybe even more now that other questions...
My 2011 M6 car drove as well as it did with the CJ mono blade and 4.5" inlet than it did with the stock intake, tb and Airaid intake. I was very impressed on how well it drove with that big inlet and throttle body. I would gladly let go of 5hp to have it drive as good as it did. I hope my 2015...
For the record, spoke with some people at Edelbrock at PRI. The numbers they provided were on a engine dyno. Sorry to those who were really hoping those numbers were real wheel power. I am not saying that you couldn't make that kind of power with this intake and supporting mods. Just that...
I asked a lot of questions about the GT350 heads. I didn't get much information as they were pretty tight lipped about them. lol They wouldn't tell me flow figures, port volumes, port cross section, valve sizes or anything. haha They only said they flow more than the cnc Boss heads and need...
Benny just posted 3 days ago they don't have info in the system yet. Chill out people. lol Benny is very good about updating the parts threads once he has information as well as expected dates. I am sure this thread will be no different.
It is about risk versus reward. You are willing to risk not spending the money to replace the sprocket and chance the part will never break. That is fine. Until the sprocket brakes and you are mad you have to pay to replace it all.
FRPP told my friend twice that she didn't have to upgrade the...
I person I know has an Aluminator in her 2011 GT street car. Along with boost. She has had two timing chain sprockets fail now. The motor was shipped back to FRPP for analysis after the second one broke. It will be interesting to see what they say.
I would recommend changing yours out if you...
Nick, I made a post on your FB page a few days ago about the price of your tune being expensive compared to other options. I am glad to see you guys are running a sale. I do have some questions though.
Does your tune have the adjustment options unlocked? Such as axle ratio, tire rev/mile, rev...
They are going to offer cams for flat & cross plane cranks. So you can build a VooDoo if you wish to. But I agree with using what we have and modifying them. It would be a cheaper option. The cross plane crank is "only" 5 pounds lighter. So not a huge savings there. I would think you could...
wow this thread is a mess. lol
Did you click the link and read the article? It says Ford Performance is releasing the production parts as well as some custom items. Like VooDoo spec cams with changes to accommodate the firing order of the Coyote cross plane crank. Should someone decide to use...
I am pretty sure my buddy measured the thickness of the paint and each application of coating. I should have him measure the coating on the lightning now that it is two years old. I have never used the refresh product on it either.
Yup, so easy to clean and keep clean. Simple touch less wash or...
