  1. TUNES: Bama vs steeda vs Lund

I chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" patience. If I had paid Livernois or Lund explicitly for the tuning, not just the "free tunes for life" +programmer, it would have been a different story entirely. That said, Alex from AM in the forums here has saved their asses a lot with his ninja...
  2. Another dead battery thread

Yeah, I do have a dash cam, however, my dash cam powers off 2 minutes after the vehicle is turned off. Doubt it's a factor.
  3. Another dead battery thread

I was referring to smash and grabs/theft from auto, not necessarily the vehicle being stolen itself. We all know that theft from autos is a more common problem.
  4. TUNES: Bama vs steeda vs Lund

My personal experience has been hit or miss. Roughly 8 months ago I started the process of getting a solid pair of street/race tunes with Bama. First batch of tunes lost power, Alex from AM stepped up to the plate to help make it right. He had Paul personally work with me early on to get some...
  5. Another dead battery thread

Inside tip to auto thieves: Watch for 2015/2016 Mustangs with the enhanced security package that have been parked for over a week and have at 'em!
  6. Another dead battery thread

Odd. Maybe it is a weak battery? I'll have to get it looked at.
  7. Another dead battery thread

I thought the same at first, but when I hooked up the battery charger, no interior lights or anything were on.
  8. Another dead battery thread

I know there are a couple of threads out there regarding various "dead battery" issues. I'm adding mine to the mix... So, I got back from a 3-week motorcycle trip throughout Canada/USA/Mexico only to return to the car being completely without power. I had to pop off the keyhole cap to get...
  9. Since a full tank of gas weighs 100lbs

It's true. Here in Canada, they've bumped street racing up from a traffic violation to a criminal charge. Not to mention, the risk of either temporarily or permanently losing your car. It's a bit of an older story, but here's a link to a story about a bunch of rich street racers in Vancouver...
  10. Tint shops in edmonton area

    That looks badass.
  11. Your S550, 03/04 Cobra, or S197

Easy call for me; S550 hands down. My 04, while fun, is still a hay wagon compared to this generation in all regards. Not to mention the fact that Ford has made the same factory power with the NA coyote platform.
  12. Tint shops in edmonton area

Good to hear that they made good on their reputation of customer service.
  13. Tint shops in edmonton area

I'm hoping they make it right for you. I and my friends have spent a lot of money there. Please keep me posted.
  14. Barton SOLID MOUNT Shifter Updates?

    Can't argue with you there.
  15. Barton SOLID MOUNT Shifter Updates?

I don't want to de-rail you, but just wanted to say that with the Barton installed, I haven't needed a bushing or brace at all. I've been to the track a few times and haven't come close to missing a gear yet. The Barton is smooth, no added NVH and extremely short shifting.
  16. Steeds its support bushings and diff bushings red

Agreed. The knock sensor concerns are mine, and appear to be an isolated issue. I wouldn't hesitate at all to install the red or the black at this point, as I'm pretty happy with the black ones installed. For me, it's was the transmission insert that gave me all the racket.
  17. Steeds its support bushings and diff bushings red

Bama hasn't altered anything yet. I've been using the same combo of their 93 and 91 tunes throughout the logging process, on the same tank of gas, with both the bushing installed and removed. Having the JLT CAI, I'm unable to data log the car with a bone stock tune, otherwise that would be an...
  18. Steeds its support bushings and diff bushings red

That said, Bama is still investigating my most recent logs from the track, post-removal. Regardless, as I realized at the track this past weekend, the combo of the vertical links and Steeda bushing support/insert systems, wheel hop has been mostly tamed with little increase in NVH. I only hear...
  19. Steeds its support bushings and diff bushings red

Of course, it's entirely possible that it's an anomaly with my car. Perhaps something else is happening here. It'd be interesting to see similar log outputs from other cars experiencing NVH increases from the bushing insert.
  20. 91or 94 octane

Is Petro Canada's 94 Ultra really just 91 with octane booster? I've heard octane booster doesn't play well with the Coyote engine/tune. If that's a fact, 91 is best, unless you have Chevron or Husky/Mowhawk 94 in your area.
