Sorry,I have never had my hands on a base system. But others have had good luck with using the large purple/green tracer wire in the passenger kick panel.

You still may want to use the pac tr-4 as it has a 2 second...
The way to fix this problem is this.Find the blue/green tracer wire, pin #1 in this plug from the factory amp.
The wire will be 6 volts. You then wire it to this.

Pin #14 is the 12volt and pin #11 is ground in the same plug.
Out of the tr-4...
I have the same setup as you.I installed the steeda stop the hop kit,and some nitto 305/35/20 555r's and now we have traction.1st gear will still spin, but second gear from about a 20 mph roll she bites good.No hop,,no spin.Mt tires will hook even better, but they only last about 3000 miles.I am...
My wife works at ARH.I own S-K Speed in lindenhurst.I might take my Roush to work this week if the weather holds out. They say rain/snow on friday.Any time you guys would like to come by and hear just the catback, let me know.

It is both the harness and the programmer.
Quote:This custom-built harness by infotainment.com is designed to allow the user the ability to replace their factory amplifier with an aftermarket amplifier fully plug & play! The included F-AUD OBD Genie programmer will reprogram your radio ACM to...
You need to get the harness/programmer combo from oem first.Hook your new amp up with your new speakers.Leave the old amp connected the factory way to power the factory sub.Otherwise you need another amp for the subwoofer.Your headunit right now has the low level outputs. They just pulled the...
No,that plug is the OBD2 connector. The plug I was referring to is on the bottom of the factory amp.It is above the kickpanel, the aluminum looking thing with the fins.It should have 3 plugs in the bottom going into it.The black one has low level pre-outs that you can use to go back to the jl amp...
I did not loose any seatbelt or phone sounds.I did loose the center speaker, but it does not do anything needed.
As far as bridging the channels for more power, yes your amp will take it but your speakers will not. They are 80 watts rms and that amp puts out 75 @ 4 ohms.
Please take some pictures...
Before I put the Hertz Mille in,I was using these faital pro's from parts express.
I bandpassed them from 350hz to 5000hz if I remember.
They sound pretty good for a $35 speaker.
You said that they installed a jl400/4 driving the front 3 ways and the rears, correct? The black plug down by the factory amp in the kick panel has the low level preouts you want.
Ask OEM radio if he has the harness finished yet for this plug.Or I can show you how I did it with a project...
What you need to do is ditch the factory amp.Running into that lc7i is not the way to go.If you have the shaker pro system in the car,the factory amp is in the drivers kick panel. The black plug contains the wires needed for l/r and f/r amp connections.I think it is pins 1-8.It is in the sticky...
I have to agree the sound is kinda crapola.I call to disconnect and they give up the 6 months for $30 deal. For 5 bux a month I will keep it alive.Anything more than that it just is not worth it to me.
Mouser part # 31067-1010, #31067-1040...and the pins are 571-1393366-1 and 571-1438299-4.
I had to find my notes,as these were not easy to track down.

Cgiles, these guys have given you some sound advice.Contact jesse (oemradio) to get the file to bypass the factory processing from the head unit. The DAC is really not that bad,I use mostly flac files on a usb stick stuffed in the console out of the way.I killed myself getting the JL amp in the...
What I did was take a "cheap china" lighter gooseneck.....

And bolted the Ibolt holder charger to it...
No but, check out my hertz mille pro thread. You can get them to fit with some work.Biggest hurdle is where to mount the crossover.I sliced it up into sections and mounted each driver section locally using the factory wiring. The woofers will most likely need spacers so the window wont clip it when...
