Ok....here we go.I just finished installing the Hertz mille 3 way speaker system.I put the JL audio 600/6 amp in some time ago, with jbl gto speakers all around. The sound was ok,but not as good as it should be.It was time to go to the next level.I am using all of the factory wiring,so it was a...
Yes it is the gto 19t.I know they say its a soft dome, but it looks aluminum when you look inside the grill cover. They are not as bad as some, but still harsh when you crank them up.I would look for a silk dome if you want it smooth.
I had the jbl gto 329 and the jbl 19t running for abit.Like the gentleman said,it is very harsh. Two aluminum tweeters running at the same time was not good.I swapped out the midrange for a faital pro with a 6db bandpass crossover covering about 400-5000hz.I modded the jbl tweeter crossover to...
In the same plug as the mid/tweeter connections there is a 12 volt wire,
a ground, and a remote turn-on lead. The problem is ford used 6 volts for the turn-on instead of 12.The pac TR-4 gets triggered from the 6 volt and uses the 12 volt as the output.
Bill, check out the way I did it.I used a breadboard and mounted it in a plastic enclosure.

#571-2-1419158-5.The male plug is part # 538-31067-1010 which takes
a female pin #571-1393366-1.
The tweeters use the same plugs
Road dog......you don't need any tools..Just take the valve cap off and find a tiny little pebble on the ground.Stick it in the stem and tighten the cap back down..
DONE!
Sure Revvd.
I used a piece of prototype board I had laying around. It is from a company called BPS.Mouser stocks it.Part #PR3U.What is nice about it is it has 6 holes per "land".What that enables you to do is stager the wires apart from each other,so you are not trying to jam them all right next...
Eddie at Electra auto body,or Frankie at Thiftway auto body both in lindenhurst.

Blue clips
Ok guys,here you go.
Blue clips.
White or yellow, I can not remember which.
It does not really matter which one you use,as they measure the same. They seem to use blue, white and yellow.I can only assume that it for the "line workers" at assembly time to put a specific...
I just finished my install of the JL amp in the factory location.I had already swapped all of the speakers over to the jbl's,but still felt it needed more and cleaner power. Now before everyone gets excited,be forwarned this is not a bolt-in swap.I almost gave up on more than one occasion as I...
