Used with instructions although it's very easy to install. This does need a tune. I'm selling a SCT BDX tuner as well. Just look in the classifieds.
Makes a great induction sound and does provide more power
2016 base GT @ 34k no problems so far. About to go out of base warranty. Dealer has checked there have been no services to the ac system. I am having the dealer see how much freon is left to see if I have a small leak tho just so if there is something going on we catch it before the warranty goes.
Oh I get that but if I recall correctly the user with the FBO 390 whp was on a dynojet. Theres a 15% degree of variance which is significant.
Edit: Just want to say I'm very happy with the f-150 manifold. VERY happy, I love the extra tq.
I have the manifold installed. I know what the gains are supposed to be. My concern is that someone with a FBO car is getting 390 whp when a vmp test got 450 whp. That's a crazy discrepancy. For comparison I stated how multiple CAI tests done and put on youtube by big vendors show the stock+cai...
Not sure where you're pulling that norm # from. There are numerous youtube videos from CJ pony parts, American Muscle, Steeda and other just running a canned tune and a CAI making over 390 to the wheels. It only makes sense to me if their dynos are not accurate or the one you ran on was not...
the estimated crank hp of 459 means there was only a gain of 24hp from headers, a CAI, 55% e-85 map, and a full catback exhaust. that is pretty abysmal. so either the car wasn't too strong to begin with, vmp's dyno is way generous, or the manifold really kills the peak # but that is not whats...
so its a full bolt on car just like the one in the vmp test BUT they got 450 to the wheels with the same mods and yours made 390... what kind of trickery is going on here.
Exactly unless the dyno is just a dream killer this is significantly lower than it should be. even with just a CAI id expect to still see around 410 rwhp.
short answer is yes. I haven't seen a good video of someone doing back to back runs with lockouts and w/o but im not sure the imrcs work properly on a 15-17 after the install anyway so dyno numbers could still be wrong. The power loss is not thought to be noticeable.
From what I've read no one has been able to get the IMRC's to work properly. I looked into this as well and unfortunately even with the adapters the cars throw codes again and again and just about everyone has gone to a lockout solution. You do not need to buy those high priced pieces of...
Not fraud, somethings just misleading about it. They are presenting it as making these power gains on premium fuel with no bolt ons. Im sure Socrates knew when something was to good to be true it usually isn't. You rarely even see these kinds of gains on stock turbo tunes without bolt ons as...
