Yeah I like the MF but there's too much bass/drone. I need a bit of rasp in there. I really dig the H Pipe with corsa touring but Corsa is out of my price range.
I'm gonna do the Borla S with my H pipe.
Currently, it's the stock muffler (2016 GT) with a Mishimoto H Pipe.
I love the Outlaws, but I'd need to weld in two bullet resonators to bring the volume down a bit.
Funny, because all of my favorites are wicked loud (Atak, Outlaw, Roush) but I'm after that low end grunt/rumble and not volume.
I've been thinking about it. My dad was running the Outlaws on his GT (2015) with an X but it was too raspy for me (I like H pipes).
I'd like to try it with an H; they're cheap enough
I love that old foxbody sound but have no idea how it would sound/play-out on the S550s.
I've been thinking about the original 40 with my H pipe. Anyone out there doing this or have in the past?
Yeah, I'm not really worried about drone. That H pipe I have on now is awesome but I need more volume and growl.
I was trying to get around the price of a new S Type AB set but I'm probably gonna bite the bullet and buy them
I don't really care to have the full axle back set up and I was wondering what muffler is used in the Borla S.
I dig that sound and I was thinking of buying the 2.5" mufflers and having my mechanic weld them reusing the existing pipes on the stock muffler. Is this doable?
I have two small, deep scratches on the interior Trim above the glove compartment. While it's not noticeable to most, I know it's there and it's driving me nuts!
What's the best way of repairing the damage? What type of material is that trim as well.
Good call on the enamel. The issue is the curing time. Enamel, you really want to wait 24hrs min before recoating. It's extremely durable but the cure time takes a bit.
