Just looked at my rear tyres and they're definitely due replacing. 275/40/19 on rear 255/40/19 on the front. All p-zeros. Front ones are absolutely fine. My knowledge of tyres is somewhat limited (well, completely) What is the recommended setup, I've seen people with 285 etc, i assume...

yeah exactly, so the idea is your supposed to use the soapy water to get position, then peel back one side and rinse off with regular water so you don't get the sh!te, then do the same on the other side. makes total sense, except it's virtually impossible to peel back part of it without moving...

sorry, correct myself, it's the soapy water that makes it easy to move, the regular water is then used to rinse away the soapy water. not sure on the video, haven't seen that one but regular water didn't let my stuff move :/ would have been much easier if it did

you waited nearly a year for a car and are willing to just cancel and buy something else at the last minute out of principle? stronger than i would have been in that situation, that's for sure.

i did that, the reflectors turned out fine :clap2: for the rears the problem i found was that you have to bend the vinyl round the light which is curved not just left to right, but up and down too, and that seemed like it just needed more expertise than i had to avoid it either creasing or...

you can spend hours over it and STILL have bubbles. gave up with mine in the end, ripped it off, bought some cheap vinyl from amazon and took it to local tint/wrap place. paid over the odds but it looks much better now.

freaky :) fyi, they told me it could take a couple of months for the part to come but it came in just over a week.

mines there now having its puddle lamp and electric window switch fixed :) give her a wave if you see her :lol:
