large parts of the US have much worse winters than we do..... :/ however totally in agreement that if something is supposed to have been done, then it should have been done properly regardless.

so car was in today and they confirmed the underseal DID need doing as per the TSB, but, they said they couldn't schedule it in at the moment because the bodyshop were having issues with the process but would let me know as soon as they had it sorted. safe to assume this is the same bodyshop...

  6. Got out of the contract on my 1.5 month old EBM

if it's had test drives it wouldn't be a new car. they get away with delivery mileage in the UK which would normally be about 10-20 miles. also, surely they wouldn't have given the previous owner the car until the finance had 'gone through', something smells very fishy and looks like...

oh no, mine is just that the passenger window switch doesn't work. it works from the driver side, but the switch in the passenger door does nothing. If someone comes along now and says it's just a safety lock or something then brilliant but I can't find any mention of it anywhere or a lock...
  10. How do you wash yours?

her car is basically the reason i have a stang. it's physically impossible for her to order a new car and me sit by quietly and not buy one myself (3 times in a row now). however I spec'd it for her so she's got the 2.0 Cooper S with the JCW body kit :headbang: like this one can't say...

he said they won't do it themselves as they don't have a bodyshop, i'd have to use a Ford approved bodyshop. either way not gonna think too much about it as I highly suspect they'll just turn around and say it doesn't need doing.
  13. Underseal at Zeebrugge.

i went to my local ford store after work to report my puddle lamp & window problems and thought i'd have a go at the underseal too. he confirmed the existence of the TSB (i didn't have to quote a number, and i watched him type it into the receptionists PC and it was 15-1102. He said it was...

  19. How do you wash yours?

did a search of forum for 'wash' and found nothing. forgot to search the non UK part of the forum, but since there are actually posts there asking for advice on where to store your weapons I tend to steer clear! :eyebulge: this is exactly the sort of thing i was looking for. Easy to follow...
  20. How do you wash yours?

OK, so I've always just taken my cars to the local Polish car wash, given them a fiver and driven away in a shiny albeit streaky car. Not feeling that for this one and gonna clean her myself. I'm assuming i need a pressure washer, but what else will I need to do a good job. What are your...
