I'm curious. I'm having my car done by sam at coastal dyno. The way he sets up most of the cars he does appears to be ~700whp at 15lbs on his mustang dyno.
I've seen multiple dyno graphs that show this should be higher power wise(I've seen at least 3 that make ~750 with the same mods.)? I know...
I wish the local strips here could do that. Gainsville and Orlando both have walls right behind the starting line.
Wannagofast comes to ocala once a year but they're already sold out. I'd love to try 1/2 mile racing I've just go no clue where to go.
The Orlando and Bradenton tracks here in florida are super lax.
Bradenton will let you run 9s in flip flops and shorts lol. Even just a rollbar I'm sure you could get away with 8s.
There is no option for mid 8s, so I picked 7s! Realistically though I'd like to get the car to run a consistent mid 8.
Might to balls to the wall with a F1X though. Or maybe the SBD TT kit, I haven't 1000% decided yet!
So you're telling me I didn't do it in a few hours in my garage when I had my C6?
It took me and a buddy roughly 5 hours(iirc) to do it. That is virtually no time.
Maybe we're misunderstanding each other.
They're foot braking to 1500-2k but the converter flashes to ~3500 in most cases for these cars.
I guess I didn't understand what you meant when you said wot at 1500:headbonk:
You haven't seen people in these coyotes launching at that RPM.

Foot braking to 1500 and leaving at WOT.

Foot braking again and leaving at WOT.
Watch any 2015 mustang video and they all do the same thing.
I haven't been getting it serviced anywhere as I do everything myself.
I'm not liking the Conti DW's too much anymore. They have great grip but it feels like the car... sways? when you're turning. I've also got a deadzone in the steering feel. I'm gonna replace them with MPSS.
On my black...
Probably only track. They won't be a DD set.
I might put them on at my house and drive to the track though so someone can't steal my wheels. Its 100 miles away.
I'm curious what people are using. I'm not sure if I should go with a 17x4.5 or a 18x5? Maybe a 17x7?
Also curious what tires people are using for them.
I'm running 295/45/17 ET Street Radial 2s on 17x9.5 Dark stars in the rear.
I would assume it means its got both port and direct injection.
If this is true I know for sure I'm trading my truck in on one. Lets put some bigger turbos on it since we wont have the DI issue of not enough fuel.
You snicked but look what chevy did to the Z06 name.
It was always a lightweight big displacement NA car. Always fixed roof, always stick.
Now look at it. Its supercharged. Its a convertible, and the hardtop has a removable roof. AND IT COMES WITH AN AUTOMATIC.
The deal is you don't have to USE the AFM, at least in my corvette which was a manual it would never switch unless you put it in eco mode.
If it keeps V8s around for longer I strongly welcome it. Even if I'll never use it.
Can confirm this. Cam install which deletes DOD has to delete the lifters and replace them. It also limits the VVT. Total cost for a complete install and tune from Lashway performance was 5 grand. The oil pan and heads have to come off.
Compare that to the LS3 where you could do a cam in a few...
