I was able to do it with my Dad over the weekend a while back. Link
So far so good. Thanks for checking. Maybe if there is ever any work that I'm extra concern with or something beyond the realm of DIY, I could look into it.
So I have a 2016 Ecoboost base with an automatic. AC had been failing on me in these Texas summers, reddit, this forum and the other says what’s happening. A bill for $2300 is really crazy to replace the AC Evap, the dealership quoted that and they want to replace the whole climate control...
how is the metra kit? My cousin in car audio seems to point me to the metra over the scoshe. How's the AC controls?
Did you keep the sync connections? Looks nice.
I'm here in Texas. And for 2-3 years now, I been using the Viofo A119 v2.
It's been not hardwire, it's via plug right now. I haven't had any problems with it here, it's mounted under the 'ford' on the windshield. I park it outdoors, so mostly in the sun and summer. No issues and I would upgrade...
I'm looking to do an upgrade for my base model 2016 ecoboost. I would have liked a premium, but the deal was so slick on what I got. And leather seats + Texas is typically a no-go for me. I have looked to the Sync 3 conversions and what not. They are pricey as well. I think you can find more...
My AC Evaporator went bad. As per the curse of the S550 it seems. I have a 2016 Ecoboost and took it to AutoNation and they quoted me $2378 to fix the AC. That's definitely a bit pricey and seems like they want to replace the whole climate control box, instead of the TSB 18-2256 says we can...
Had this problem now. My 2016 Ecoboost got warm air on one side, cold the other. Did a pro AC charge up, I was cold air for about one week. And then it all went hot. Need AC in Texas. Checked out the TSB 18-2256 and the forums. I took the car to the dealership, they charged me $139 for...
235/50-18 runs at 27.2" i think. So 1in drop!
hey if guys be running 33 and 35 inch tires on trucks to get a lift, slightly smaller tires for that lowered look works too! lol
yeah. 255/45 or 275/40 is what is suggested on the apex fitment guide. So those are the two sizes I'd been looking at. I think the 275 will affect the speedometer by being 1mph slower or so.
265/40 isn't something i've considered. I'll look into it. Discount will give me back about $60 for my...
In the same boat. Have EC-7 in 18x9.5. My JDM friends (nissans, Acuras, etc) say just run the stock 235/50r18 on them, it would be a tiny stretch.
I don't know about that. There seems to be more selections at the 255/45 range though. Discount tire doesn't have either in stock for me in store so...
Thanks for sharing this guys. I been wanting to figure something out. I couldn't imagine why there wasn't a 'stealth mode', my previous 2009 Rogue could turn off dome lights. I dislike it because at night, i can't see out the windows if the lights are on and it's dark outside... I don't know why...
I saw this tire the other day on youtube on donut media with their Hi/Low comparisons on the 350z. It seems like it would be a nice cheap set of tires to run for some fun if you can. I see them can be got under $100 for my wheel size. So it seems like something to use for fun.
