I’m bought my 17 back in November so no AC usage. With all the talk of evap core problems, I started trying mine to see if it works properly. Holding my hand in front of one of the vents (base GT) it blows cold for about 15 sec and then really cold for about the same. It seems to cycle like this...

My 17 came with one from the factory, should be a Ford part number.

If you get a plan with a deductible, does that apply to the entire warranty or just after the typical 3/36?

Any of you with the all season Nero’s find them noisy. I’ve only got 7K on mine and they are pretty loud already.

I think this is just a warm weather car. Even the dash doesn’t crackle as much in the moderate temps.

So the weather finally warmed up a bit here so I thought I would give the CB005 kit another try on a warmer day. What a difference 25 degrees makes! Nice long burnout and no detectable hop at all. As much as this car annoys me with all the little things, that was kind of fun!!

I’m with you, squeeks, creeks and rattles drive me crazy and this car is the worst. If I could find something else I like in the same price range this thing would be gone.

As received the lights on my 17 were the worst of any new car I’ve owned. They were adjusted way too low and the sharp cutoff of the low beams is not good when going up a hill. I adjusted mine way up and that helps but I wouldn’t get another car with HID’s.

The knob I made is pretty plain. It works well for me, but it seems most people like all the color and engraving options available. Probably not much of a market for a simple knob.

I agree. K&N did finally get back to me yesterday and said they didn’t find anything unusual in their testing. The oem filters gasket measured at about .310-.320, where the the KN was at about .230. The clips were so loose that I didn’t feel confident they would even stay clipped. The AFE...

I assume it is, I think they only make one for our cars. Maybe I had a bad one or maybe a bad batch but it sure didn’t fit as it should.
