Reviving this thread, has anyone found alternative/new solutions? I really wanted to have something similar to Mach 1 tips on mine, but haven't found tips yet. I think PKs' one is the closest I have ever seen. For those using only the bolts and no welding, is it still holding up to this date?

No light sockets in my condo underground garage though (nor I would think running an extension cord would be allowed).

Tempted to just buy a cheap cordless heat gun for $100 then, the shop will probably ask at least $50 to install them, might as well spend an extra 50 and have a heat gun for anything else I might need.
