  1. GT WTB: Gen 3 Coyote OEM filter box

Ah too bad :( I was under the impression most people that went aftermarket also replaced the intake tube.
  2. GT WTB: Gen 3 Coyote OEM filter box

Still looking for one! I forgot to mention but I need the full kit like below:
  3. GT WTB: Gen 3 Coyote OEM filter box

Anyone has a spare they are interested in selling? Must be willing to ship to Canada.
  4. Winter Storage First Timer - Any Tips?

Not when I'm parked 4 floors below ground lol I'll probably do that, although it doesn't get too cold (around 15 Celsius / 60 Fahrenheit).
  5. Winter Storage First Timer - Any Tips?

I live in a condo, last year I just disconnected the ground terminal of the battery and after 4 months it started fine. I've been thinking about getting a battery tender though, but since I don't have anywhere to connect near the car, I would have to remove the battery completely and leave it...
  6. Talk me out of buying a Mach 1 (or not)

I'm assuming you are buying manual, not automatic? If buying MT I would definitely go with Mach1 just because I much prefer the S550 style. If buying A/T I wouldn't consider either one.
  7. $2000-$3000 budget for a PP2: Lightweight wheels vs. suspension/chassis upgrades?

I like all suggestions from you folks :) And will be following most of it. So basically coming up soon: - Tires - Steeda dual rate springs - Camber plates - Alignment - Schroth quick fit harnesses (if the seat belt hack doesn't work) Is the Steeda Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit...
  8. $2000-$3000 budget for a PP2: Lightweight wheels vs. suspension/chassis upgrades?

Interesting, I read so many times that stiffening the subframe would help in hard cornering, but if it really is mostly for hard accelerations I will probably skip it for now. I really regret selling the MM camber plates I bought and never installed... But if I'm getting new ones I'm thinking...
  9. $2000-$3000 budget for a PP2: Lightweight wheels vs. suspension/chassis upgrades?

My current status: - PP2 with bone stock suspension/chassis. - Did a few HPDE sessions this year, planning to do more next year. I will be getting Nankang CR-S soon, but other than that I was planning to spend a bit more with upgrades for better corner handling. For that specific purpose...
  10. RESOLVED - Steeda subframe brace issue

Out of curiosity has anyone else had rust issues in the last couple of years after Steeda upgraded their powder coating process? I'm about to buy their stop the hop kit and was curious if this is still happening to some (I don't drive my car during winter to avoid salt BTW).
  11. Illinois BMR CB005 level 2 cradle lockout

I can take it if you are ok shipping to Canada (paid by me).
  12. Tires for HPDE - Update from Slick to High performance

I really like the chart in this page comparing lots of them: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/articles/track-tire-buyers-guide/
  13. Tire life - years vs miles

What about 2020 tires that were driven less than 7k miles, with the car always stored underground and used in HPDE about 2 months ago. Do you guys think it's ok to use it at least once more in another HPDE (beginner) next week, as the tire shows no sign of damage? I don't drive the car that...
  14. Mach1 or PP2?

If price is not taken into account then obviously the M1 is a better choice. But here in Canada the price difference between PP2 and M1 is ~$15k CAD (~$10k USD), no way in hell M1 is worth that much more, just like Dark Horse is not worth that much more than the M1. Might as well go to a GT350...
  15. Michigan BMR CB005 LOCK OUT KIT FOR SALE-LIKE NEW

are you able to ship it to canada?
  16. What are some things you wish you knew before boosting your car

Because of constant maintenance/repairs? Or is it because people keep upgrading it for more power?
  17. I tried RTR grille clone

Not always though, some are indeed lower quality. Take this as an example: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0B7MKYR2S?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Looks very similar to the OEM version, but it is actually much lower quality once you have it in hands. I returned mine.
  18. Ceratec+BG Syncro Shift II + MT82 = Awesome

I use ceratec for the engine, but would never put it in my transmission. Syncros work solely based on friction, anything that can alter those parameters are prone to causing more issues than benefits long term. I rather spend the money on a MGW shifter.
  19. Has anyone bought this steering wheel? All leather, flat bottom and heated.

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/285420196190?fits=Submodel%3AGT%7CYear%3A2018%7CModel%3AMustang There's not a lot of decent options with the characteristics pointed in the title, and they all cost over double of this one. Probably my main concern is how well the heating works on this, and if the...
