I did the track attack back in May and had a blast. Anyway, I know the cars are 2021 or 2022 Mach 1s with the handling package. We asked what changes they make and they said they remove the TPMS, change brake fluid, install roll bar and harness. Does anyone know what roll bar and harness they...
1970 Mustang Milano concept car. Featured in a Motor Trend article from 2013. Some styling ques made it to the 71 model year. Though the body line along the side is damn near a copy of the 1970 Challenger.
I was right there with you. I had "built" a couple of different GTs on Fords site and was about to pull the trigger when I spotted a used Mach 1. Unfortunately, it sold before I could learn more about the. A buddy explained the difference to me, and I did additional research. I ended up...
I heard back from Anthony. Evidently they have no record of me buying the car so I need to provide the sales order, chassy number, etc.. I am out of town for a few weeks so I'll have to wait a bit longer. He said the dealer should have submitted something.
Still waiting for my kit. Took delivery in December of 2022. I did hear from Anthony at Ford who said they were shipping in May and June. End of July. Maybe its coming soon????
I purchased some off an ebay site that had Mach 1 logo. I think the optional floor mats, are really just floor mats. Most cars don't come with any. But I agree, Mach 1 mats would have been better.
I have been detailing cars for a while, it was a side gig to make extra cash in way back in college. So I decided to try applying ceramic coating on my new Mach 1. I have a fairly bright garage but its evident I misses fully removing the excess in a couple of spots. There are some rainbow...
Should be able to see if they have original window sticker. You can gage the value based on original MSRP and see if its worth it. Its a pretty base model Mach 1. No upgraded stereo, no leather. The Recaro's are nice. If you wanted to start somewhere to make a nice track car, that would be it.
I travel a lot for work, so not as much time as I'd like. But I do manage to get it out once in a while. I took it grocery shopping the other day. Yes, it's a manual. I have taken it to work a few times too.
Been seven months for me. I was told May they would ship. I don't hold out hope I will get one. I seem to have bad luck with stuff like that. I will keep bugging dealer and the person one of the threads here said to contact (Anthony?). Disappointing since it was a small part of ordering...

From Ford website on the Mach 1 ratio table. The tremec is different than the other manual transmission.
Thanks for the perspective. The C8 was initially on my short list. Lack of a third pedal took care of that for me. Even though the C8 transaxle is faster than a manual, I still enjoy rowing the gears. Plus the Mach 1 reminds me of old muscle cars.
A guy in my class brought his. Suction mount looks like the way to go. Inside the car only is the tracks requirement. I think a roll bar mount would work too. The track guys recommend turning it on and letting it run. They want to avoid distractions. Plenty of time to turn it on and start...
Thanks for the input. I did my Track Attack yesterday. Flew in Monday morning and spent a little time at the Mustang Owners Museum. Unfortunately some teleconferences squashed any additional exploring. Track day was a good time. I did buy the insurance. After riding with the instructor I...
