My favorite catback for the 2018-2020 without active valves, are the SW (Stainless Works) Or Hooker Blackheart
Both have excellent build quality, uses 304 stainless and have double wall endtips welded tig (Not some cheapass end with collar that looks bad)
And real dual-exit, not 1 tube going to...
You guys have no clue wtf, yes you can run that fuel in your gen3. And better than that (its going to blow away any 87/89/91/93 without ethanol)
This car needs close to 94 octane to deliver the full 460 hp claim by ford. And they LOVE ETHANOL.
Even if the gas cap says 10%, Its not worse than...
No but svt is not wrong man, a a10 drag mode car over here runs 11.6 bone stock. Altitude/fuel/temps everything lined up to make power
Can your older gen run that fast ? Because rowing thru 6 gears and having your hp tighter on 10 gears is not going to give you the same delivery
Like i said, im...
With track mode just traction control off, the car stays straight and just pull strong with traction
But drag strip mode, traction control off and stability control off, forget about it im gonna roll it into a tree if i keep it pinned. Deadliest combo
If you have a 3.55 gear like me its worst...
Nope, 2018 a10 with PP1 running drag strip mode, but i had everything off (traction and stability)
No way it will hook up in the street using drag mode and all off, you really need to be careful not much room for mistake
If being sit on the floor is your thing, and a weird manual transmission feel. My first impression with those is, they feel and drive like shit
But to each their own i guess
Not to be mean but, 12.7 at 150 mph there is something not right over here
Before spending on a whipple might have gotten yourself a set of drag wheel instead
What i understand here, your car has unuseable power without slicks, and you din't cut 12.7 on a set of drag wheel so your on stockers ...
The tuners that know their stuff can definetly tweak your 10r80 to behavior like drag strip mode yes, but if you don't have drive mode select switch you might find it agressive for the street
Hoping you have great rubber on those rims to hold the rear-end straight line, because it really shocks...
If it makes a difference ? Holy hell it does, so much that i lost control today doing some test. 180 degrees and i managed to save it but it got close to an accident
I am currently testing all the different modes aswell (traction on or off) and (esp on or off)
Today i turned down everything...
If you can use a 2018 intake manifold on your gen2, go for it. I think its better equilibrated in hp/tq than the gt350
And the factory CAI 2018 is excellent, flow more than stock gen3 needs before fbo
+2 on that, tough you know 94 we can run 28-29 degrees and e85 run 30-31
In cold weather temps both perform quite closer than you think, but in summer your ethanol keeps temp lower and less prone to detonating
The day you can uses your car in straight line, WIDE OPEN THROTTLE. Everything turned off (TC,ESC) and not loose control. Then you can look into more hp
