That's what I've done for my cars in the past. However, I'm now lacking a garage where I can store a second set of wheels/tires, so finding a good set of all seasons is currently my only option.
To be fair though, the PS4s are summers - I run all-seasons. At $245 for the Michelins vs. $193 (a tire) for the Contis, I didn't really think it was worth the extra dough.
Fair question. I’d had the Conti’s on previous cars and liked them, but I also read some tests that showed they were a bit better in inclement weather.
Thought about it some more and decided to bite the bullet and order the Contis. I'll be throwing the PZeros up for sale pretty cheap if anyone's interested. I think at this point they'll only have 100 miles or so on them.
I already listed them for sale locally. The used tire places around me offered $15 per tire, not enough to offset another $900-1000 on a new set.
I definitely want new tires, but I don't want to just waste these either. Given that I don't have to commute, I'll just use one of my family...
That's most likely what I'll do, but to be fair I'm very familiar with these tires. My old VW GTIs used the same thing stock (albeit 225/40/18s). In warm weather they're fine, but up here in the Northeast they're pretty useless under 40 degrees. I get wheelspin coming out of my neighborhood with...
They look mint visually, no issues there. I drive like a normal person, no burnouts haha. I do put a good amount of miles on, even with WFH (5k since the beginning of August when I bought the car), so I'm hoping by next year I can get some good rubber.
Date codes are fairly recent - I think mid 2019 IIRC? They came off a 2020 GT/CS that's been sitting in a garage since June, so there's really zero wear on these.
I'd sell them if I could, but idk who would want semi-used tires in this size...
I just picked up a set of California Special 19s with the stock PZeroes on them (basically 0 miles). I've had these tires in the past and know they're basically garbage. That being said, I don't want to waste a new set of tires by throwing them away.
Any idea how many miles before these things...
Hi all, selling my stock Mustang GT wheels. Tires have 4700 miles on them, just bought the car in August. Also includes TPMS sensors.
Looking for $375 OBO
Picked up a 0 mile set of California Special wheels last night. Excited to get them on the car today.
Guy I bought them from is hacking apart a brand new GT/CS Convertible to create an offroad monster.
I really only looked at the Mustang GT, Challenger R/T, and the Camaro LT1 when I bought my car a few months back.
Visibility aside, I much preferred the look/feel of the interior on the Mustang. I also personally prefer the exterior styling as well, but that's subjective. I think the Mustang...
