Yes, bankyf is correct,
I took a close-up of mine at the bottom. The 4" thin zip-ties are to prevent the rubber hose from coming off of the actuator fittings, both ends of the rubber hose. This really needs to be done before setting the supercharger base down on the engine, as there is NO room...
After installing the Whipple Supercharger on your S550, realize that you have just added around 170 pounds to the front.
To compensate for this on my 2016 GT350 I replaced the front springs with the 2020 GT500 base front springs and ended up with a perfect front fender lip height of 27 5/8"...
Before I did my TR3160 swap I took some time and designed this Trans Fixture, with some angle built into it. It worked great, I may consider selling it now.
But one issue is: After you remove the trans from the engine, the back of the engine angles back up and makes the trans install more...
What you are checking/hearing there is Ring & Pinion backlash only, nothing to do with Torsen.
To get a reading on Torsen/Trac-Loc play you would have to put axles into diff, and lock the axles down. (This could be done with the diff/axles in the car and put on the emergency brake. Then check...
-A great upgrade for the stock OEM filter, and doesn’t require a tune-
This is a 'Like-New' Ford Performance AIRAID "Blue" washable/reusable air filter for the GT350.
I ran this on my GT350 for less than 1,000 miles, before switching up to a Whipple 5G KIt.

This is a slightly used, (Less than 2,000 mi.) filter I had put on my GT350.
It got replaced by Whipple SC kit.
This filter is washable and reusable for long-lasting performance on your Bullitt, GT350, and GT500.

Relocating the JLT 3.0 Passenger-Side Oil Separator.
I previously had a (Passenger-Side) JLT Oil Separator on my car. After the Whipple Gen 5 install it didn't fit so well.
I talked to JLT and they recommended I sell my old JLT and buy the new Remote Kit they have.
I ended up converting my own...
The Whipple Intake (even without the Lid) is quite heavy. If you find yourself alone (without help) when it comes time to set it down on your engine you might try this.
I bought (2) M6 x 60mm phillips-head screws at home-depot. Ground down the heads, and made a couple of alignment pins for the...
I use an SAE 1 1/16” 6 point socket.
The housing is plastic/nylon, I've seen 12 point sockets slip and round-off the hex end of these housings. Be sure and use a 6 point socket.
I see you just joined the forum, (Welcome).
Several of us were just like you in thinking about better cooling options for our 2016 GT350's.

Fords recommendation as stated in the workshop repair manual states 9mm below hole for all differentials for the S550. That said I did run mine 8 oz overfull (coming out the hole) without problem. However, I have heard that overfilling this axle may cause diff fluid to be expelled out the vent...
Many brands of Diff Gear Oil will certainly work in the S550 Mustangs.
(Amzoil, BG, Lucas, Motorcraft, Red Line, Royal Purple)
Mostly it is a personal preference to which brand you prefer.
1. Weights: Doesn't really matter the difference between 75W 85, or 75W 90. Either is acceptable.
