Just wanted to drop a quick reply to say the Airaid filter has arrived and does fit the steeda tube ok. The opening is ever so slightly larger on the Airaid filter but you can tighten it up enough with the jubilee clip. The filter itself is also maybe half an inch shorter but it will fit as bot...

Just to update. I just updated my sync3 to 3.0.23219 using the official updater from the Ford website and all issues have gone. I did consider 3.4 but the fact you cant go back put me off. Edit - the issues have reappeared. Will consider trying 3.4 this weekend.

Ah ok thanks. Yeah that issue is also annoying... But I also can't hear them. The quick change of Bluetooth settings within android auto calling fixes it temporarily Fingers crossed on the upgrade being a better fix

Just to correct slightly. I thought I had a sync2 but it's been so many years since I checked. It's a sync3 running 19205. I just checked and no updates available OTA but I've googled and I think later builds are available on the ford website. May try this tomorrow. Seems like 19205 is ancient...

Many thanks 👍 Appreciate you taking the time to help. The airaid is looking a pretty perfect replacement for those of us wanting a dry. I do like how the stock steeda one was an inteverted filter element inside as well though so it kind of makes the filter a bit bigger.
