They'll be doing hero runs in the high 11s like I said months ago (and was laughed at for it) I just don't get why some won't admit that stock for stock the Camaro is substantially faster. A half second is a beating in a drag race.
If the gt 350 had the 8 speed auto it would run 11s all day long and trap 3 mph faster. The camaros performance is amazing but a lot can be attributed to the transmission. The manual camaros are slower. An auto gt 350 would be a travesty anyway :)
Already have it. Was just wondering if Lund didn't like tuning them. Honestly I didn't know you don't sell them. I figured every vendor did. I am not taking a shot at you btw, from what I see here you're one of the best vendors. I'll be looking for the Nguage on your 12 day sale soon
Honest question here....why do you show no love for the Steeda intake? I have always seen you recommend Roush or JLT. I have a Steeda now and eventually when I quit being a bitch :D I'm gonna hit you up for an N Guage and Lund tune. Just wondering if Lund has issues with Steeda intakes.....
The lt1 is a new motor and is direct injection. I'm not a fan of it after owning a Mazdaspeed 3 and having to clean the valves at 20 k miles. It'll be interesting to see if carbon build up is an issue with the lt1 like it is with other DI motors.
Unless you track your car the pp. takes should last a lot longer than that. The same couldn't be said for my shitty p zeros though, they were done at 10 k
I used a small hammer and tapped the corners in. I had to trim some off myself.
I had harder time getting the no tune insert in than doing the trim, even using a little oil on it. I'm not looking forward to removing it if I ever decide to time the car
Fify.
I got a big ding down to the metal on my 15 ......... at a car show of all places.
My 12 was hit n runned in a lot to the tune of 3000 dollars in damage when it was 5 months old. The worst part was it was on the passenger side. I found out the next day at work when someone walked...
Here's a weird one.....
My 12 had the ford racing tune installed at the dealership I bought it at. One of my o2 sensors went bad. I made a service appointment at a local dealership and took it in. Got a call from them telling me I had a tune on the car and I had to remove it before they would...
I have a whole set of pp rims and I'm in philly. I'd sell all 4 for 450 bucks if you're interested. Was gonna put them up for sale but I figure I'd see if you're interested first since you're local. No rash and only a couple tiny marks. We're on car for 5000 miles
Nice runs! I've always wanted to run my car there but I've never been to a track and I don't want to be ' that guy ' in the staging lanes. Lol. Might go Friday and watch
I have the Steeda intake without tune. I can tell you it's worth it alone for the increase in throttle response. It looks great under the hood if you care about that and it makes a bunch of cool noise. Honestly my but dyno can't tell if the car is any quicker, but you won't feel 10 or so hp anyway.
Ford should come out with an intake/tune combo that is backed by the FACTORY warranty. It would help even out the game with the Camaro. I had the Ford Racing tune on my 12 and it made a big difference, especially with low end power.
Supposedly Steedas bushing is a softer durometer than Whiteline. I had a Whiteline in my 12 for about a week, nvh was ridiculous even with a big hole drilled in it. I might give the Steeda a shot but my trans shifts really nice with just the bracket
