  1. 0-60 time for Ecoboost w/basic bolt-ons & tune?

If that's right you'll be shifting from 2nd to 3rd at about 50mph, if peak power is about 5600rpm. 0-60mph times are actually 0-62mph here in the UK at least, because 62mph = 100kph, as used by our friends in Europe. So in other words, it'll definitely need 3rd gear.
  2. Anyone coming from a GTI/Miata/s2000/C5/C6/etc?

My previous car was an S2000. It was a very good car, but I'm after something a little more laid back.
  3. Eco boost sound

That sounds like open throttle bodies or a Honda vtec through a less restrictive intake. My S2000 sounded quite similar. It's a good sound, quite metallic, but we're back at sounding like a Honda again. Although S2000 is better than a '94 Civic 1.6.
  4. 2.3l in the 2016 Focus RS

Yeah, but without the STI's massive turbo laaaaaggg. Hopefully the mustang will have the same turbo, and they only limit it's performance via engine mapping. Years ago in the UK (and maybe Europe) Ford did a Sierra RS Cosworth that later in it's life (1990) had an AWD system. It's a modern...
  5. 2.3l in the 2016 Focus RS

AWD in the RS at last. That's thrown another spanner in the works for me. So hard to choose.
  6. Euro-Spec 2015 Mustang Spotted (Again)

I actually really like the tail lights on that race red one above. With the black wheels too it looks good.
  7. Soft touch upper door panel requiring 68B Premier Trim Color Accent Package?

My god I hope we get simpler choices in the UK. I know the US is often renowned for choice, which is good, but it really needs clarifying in regards to what you get. To not have soft touch on upper door panels in a car like this in 2014 is stupid. Even my Fiesta does.
  8. 0-60 time for Ecoboost w/basic bolt-ons & tune?

Fiesta ST runs 21psi stock, and there's obviously scope for tuning on that, so well have to see. Anyone know if the Mustang runs an overboost feature like the Focus and Fiesta?
  9. So how badly are we going to be ripped off?

I've heard £30k and £35k being said for the ecoboost and V8 respectively. I have a Fiesta ST right now. They retail about £18k in the UK and $22k in the US. The V8 with PP in the US is $38k, so by those maths we should pay £31k for the V8. I think that would make the ecoboost too cheap...
  10. RHD 2015 Mustang Production

We quite like black wheels in the UK and maybe Europe, so I wouldn't worry about that. We're used to bigger mirrors to the point that I at least don't notice. And obviously most will be coupes and not white. The only slight concern us tail light colour and price.
  11. RHD 2015 Mustang Production

So basically Ford think us Europeans like a rock-hard ride. Great. Could be worse but it's all price dependant.
  12. RHD 2015 Mustang Production

In the UK I think we get the PP as standard, so it may be to do with that.
  13. RHD 2015 Mustang Production

Yeah those. I dislike them far more than the 'dumbo' mirrors. It's what we're used to I guess.
  14. RHD 2015 Mustang Production

Those orange reflectors low down on the bumpers... I thought that was a US thing.
  15. RHD 2015 Mustang Production

Ford UK will fob us off and rename Guard. I don't know why Ford haven't brought the car sooner. I also don't know if they realise what a hit it'll be. It's an icon to us that we've never had. In a way a bit like when the Fiat 500 appeared a few years ago. Of the reintroduction of the Mini in...
  16. Engine Shuts Off

Stop/start systems always turn the engine back on. When you dip the clutch to put it into first on a manual. Not sure about an auto.
  17. 0-60 time for Ecoboost w/basic bolt-ons & tune?

I'd think with a free flowing intake, exhaust, intercooler and remap you should be looking at the best part of 400bhp. At least 370bhp anyway. A remap should see 350bhp.
  18. Why is there such a giant hole in the market

The M4 probably will sell more, but that's a 2 door coupe.
  19. Focus/Fiesta ST owners

I have a Fiesta ST. Good little car. Will have had it 2 years by the time the Mustangs arrive over here in the UK. I'm 6'2" and fit in the Fiesta fine, although I wouldn't want to be any taller and would also appreciate more space. Power from the Fiesta with a tune is good, including torque.
  20. Mustang in Europe [Update: Ordering begins May 24]

Late 2015? Damnit Ford. There's too many nice cars around, and that's a bit of a wait.
