  1. What’s this connector?

Never mind. That is not the nanny plug. I just went and looked. I have zero clue what that is.
  2. What’s this connector?

Idiot plug. Unplug it if you like doing dumb stuff. It disables all traction systems.
  3. Can you hold a dealer accountable on a used car?

Was the car sold as certified pre owned?
  4. I’m not sure there’s a consistently measurable delta in 0-60 and 1/4 mile times among any of the 2018-2024 GTs

There is normally a tick and a tock in development. The coyote is no different. 1. Gen 1 huge tock New motor 2. Gen 2 was a tick. Few upgrades and slight hp bump 3. Gen 3 was an huge upgrade. 50+ Hp. Tock 4. Gen 4 is a slight tick. Basically parts binned the engine for looks. My guess is when...
  5. My First Time Saying Good Bye to a Dog - Please Help Me

Unlike many things in life, the love for a dog only increases with time. Time is also the only healer of the hole that is left behind when your awesome dog passes. Be strong. It will slowly get better but unfortunately the next few months are going to be rough. And always know that there is...
  6. Calipers stuck on rotors

I have had another car do this. Start car and press brake petal firmly. This will usually do the trick. If you are from up north and drive the car in the winter, it is probably residual salt coming off and speeding up the rusting process.
  7. Stolen Charger Cables

Sounds like a Dodge problem to me.
  8. Best way to run new switched circuit from interior fuse box?

The map light circuit is on a delay. I tapped the wire for my radar detector right behind the map light itself. Taking the map light housing down was the hardest part. I didn’t fuse it but adding a small fuse would have been a good idea.
  9. Looking for opinions on nail in tire

Have it patched and burn them off. Make good videos or hunt a crowd. Where is the imagination these days?
  10. The Worst Mustangs Ever

Maybe this has been asked but how did they get that thing in there? The wheels can’t possibly turn more than a few inches. Looks like it is one with the storage now.
  11. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

I am going with 2. The flare fit on the lug nut to the wheel is what resist the torquing motion along with the clamping force to the hub. With the wrong flare the wheel starts to move and it is only a matter of time until something breaks. Op check the wheel flare to lug nut angle. They should...
  12. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

Is it just me or does it look like the incorrect lug taper was cut into the rims. All this talk of installation and user error but he is breaking studs. Something simple is badly wrong here.
  13. Mustangs damaged from derailed train

Watching that metal roof fold up is oddly satisfying.
  14. Max Cylinder Head Temperature 5.0 / 2.3 L

Completely true. I have always just been under the impression a warped head comes from the rapid loss in cooling ability. The climb from 267 to 300 could happen in seconds once most cooling is lost. I have heard around 300 from head maker but that information is about 20 years old.
  15. Max Cylinder Head Temperature 5.0 / 2.3 L

50/50 antifreeze @ 16 psi boils at 267. Once it boils it loses a large part of its cooling properties. So I am going with 267 for both. It’s a quick trip to warped parts after that.
  16. i need high school chick advice please

For anyone wondering what an AI bot looks like, well this post right here.
  17. Is it supposed to look like that?

That hole is to help the rods maintain a certain level of straightness.
  18. Real? oemperformancespareparts.com

Super easy to tell. If there is no address listed, it’s a scam. Goes for anything internet.
  19. 50 cat removed with dyno numbers

Ford like all manufactures rates HP at the crank. So if you are making 403 at the wheels you should be making more like 440-460 at the crank. Put a 2018 intake manifold on it and bump up the redline to 7500 for the best bang for the buck horsepower.
  20. MUDstang vs Mustang Hill Climb

That video was made by a highly regarded tuner around here. Anyone care to guess who?
