There is normally a tick and a tock in development. The coyote is no different.
1. Gen 1 huge tock New motor
2. Gen 2 was a tick. Few upgrades and slight hp bump
3. Gen 3 was an huge upgrade. 50+ Hp. Tock
4. Gen 4 is a slight tick. Basically parts binned the engine for looks.
My guess is when...
Unlike many things in life, the love for a dog only increases with time. Time is also the only healer of the hole that is left behind when your awesome dog passes.
Be strong. It will slowly get better but unfortunately the next few months are going to be rough.
And always know that there is...
I have had another car do this. Start car and press brake petal firmly. This will usually do the trick.
If you are from up north and drive the car in the winter, it is probably residual salt coming off and speeding up the rusting process.
The map light circuit is on a delay. I tapped the wire for my radar detector right behind the map light itself. Taking the map light housing down was the hardest part.
I didn’t fuse it but adding a small fuse would have been a good idea.
Maybe this has been asked but how did they get that thing in there?
The wheels can’t possibly turn more than a few inches. Looks like it is one with the storage now.
I am going with 2. The flare fit on the lug nut to the wheel is what resist the torquing motion along with the clamping force to the hub.
With the wrong flare the wheel starts to move and it is only a matter of time until something breaks.
Op check the wheel flare to lug nut angle. They should...
Is it just me or does it look like the incorrect lug taper was cut into the rims.
All this talk of installation and user error but he is breaking studs. Something simple is badly wrong here.
Completely true. I have always just been under the impression a warped head comes from the rapid loss in cooling ability. The climb from 267 to 300 could happen in seconds once most cooling is lost.
I have heard around 300 from head maker but that information is about 20 years old.
50/50 antifreeze @ 16 psi boils at 267.
Once it boils it loses a large part of its cooling properties. So I am going with 267 for both. It’s a quick trip to warped parts after that.
Ford like all manufactures rates HP at the crank. So if you are making 403 at the wheels you should be making more like 440-460 at the crank.
Put a 2018 intake manifold on it and bump up the redline to 7500 for the best bang for the buck horsepower.
