  1. Kids first car

I had a 96 when I first started driving. I was rowdy driver some might say. I never wrecked it bad but I had more “could have been closed casket” moments than I want to admit. Very few were my fault but I put myself in that situation. I raced (and won) go carts as a kid so my driving skills at...
  2. Mach 1 for '21MY

As talked about in another post Fords game plan has changed. They are facing huge fiscal headwinds. I would expect them to quit innovating and basically start selling more and more packages. The R&D cost has already been spend on the coyote/S550 platform. Just look to dodge to see all their...
  3. Did Dodge beat Ford?

I can defiantly see what you are talking about. Also considering there will be two different models of cars under the same product name you are already correct. I just don’t know if the plan is to create a brand more than to ensure this new model is talked about. If Ford gave its first car a...
  4. Did Dodge beat Ford?

I think Dodge branding the Ram to distance itself from Dodge. Same thing with Jeep. The branding of the Mustang-E in my opinion is more for guaranteed publicity more than anything. Ford has dumped a large amount of capital into developing an Eletric platform. The Mustang branding was just a...
  5. Same size tires are rubbing fenders

PP1 rims and pirellis rears will fit on front with 5mm spacers. Square setup. Sames rims with PS4s rub shock tower. Ask me how I know.
  6. Mach 1 for '21MY

They seem to have a package for everyone. They haven’t truly updates their cars in years but yet their sales just keep on doing up. I would expect Ford has noticed this and will somewhat quit innovating and just follow Dodges lead. I would expect a plethora of new packages to come out in the...
  7. Mach 1 for '21MY

They are taking a page out of Dodges playbook. Don’t change the bones of the car. Just make 72 different options and packages. Once you have all the sunk cost of R&D out of the way, why not swap parts and make as many different trims and packages as people will buy?
  8. Bunch of kids shut down a FREEWAY in Dallas to do donuts...

I agree it is mostly young dumb thing. The problem though is the level of disrespect for the people in the community. I think it’s a seed that gets planned in a community. The culture of disrespect and taking what is wanted only grows. These kids grow up. And please stop calling it racial...
  9. Bunch of kids shut down a FREEWAY in Dallas to do donuts...

Your right. This falls into the prohibited speak category. Seems kinda convenient consider culture is the single best indicator or crime, wealth, IQ, and literacy across the world. Ever get the feeling you are being conned? And reality does support my argument. Unfortunately It doesn’t...
  10. Going from manual to A10

Start using the paddle shifter more. Best of all world with the paddles. I still turn the car off in drive from time to time. Habits.
  11. Bunch of kids shut down a FREEWAY in Dallas to do donuts...

I am sure this is taboo now in our ultra sensitive world but I will say it anyways. Race is a good indicator of culture. Culture is generally dictated by geography. Culture can be transplanted but will retain its geographical roots. Since I don’t see a lot of blatantly stupid “just holding...
  12. Using Winter/Snow tires in MD/VA/DC

If you are not planning on driving in snow get some all seasons. All seasons at the best solution between snow and summer. They will perform better in cold rain and can be ran in warm temperatures without compromised performance. If you are for-seeing the Honda kicking it, then the choice...
  13. Engine failures - Not

The failure rate for the Voodo is very small. It’s a sampling problem. It’s the same as standing at the back of an Apple store. Everyone there has a problem with their device in one form or another. You could stand there for a little while and soon say Apple makes nothing but junk. The...
  14. Gas Guzzler Tax on 2020 ?

    Maybe this? https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/22/ford-investigating-possible-problems-with-fuel-economy-emissions-tests.html
  15. NITROUS on STOCK 18-19 GT?

Has a point here. All things equal tune vs 100 shot no tune, tune would probably take the win.
  16. NITROUS on STOCK 18-19 GT?

People just don’t like nitrous around here. It is easy and cheap HP though. It’s basically pure oxygen at temperature so I would imagine you would want it tuned for nitrous. I wet shot of some sort would most likely work but you would be tuning it manually with the fuel injector sizing. It...
  17. Dealership, question everything

If Ford makes cars with more problems the dealership makes more money. If states didn’t have terrible monopoly laws on dealerships, independent shops could make these problems disappear. Buy a car directly from Ford and have it worked on at one of 25 authorized warranty mechanics/shops in...
  18. Issues after Gen 2 engine replacement

Most likely out the bottom. It is easy compared to top when you have a lift.
  19. Actual warranty denials due to tuning.

Short answer is no. Long answer is if what you installed causes a second part to break then they will void it on that particular part. Like if your header were to crack because the cat back was installed improperly. Very implausible but just an example.
  20. Will Hillary Run?

No doubt on that. Everyone is so freaking stressed and serious these day.
