Do the Ecoboost engines have trouble with spinning the crank pulley? I've only rarely heard of non supercharged cars needing to be pinned, and so far never on the Ecoboost mustangs.

I have the ecoboost with the steeda bracket and whiteline insert with no noticeable vibration. I did drill a 1" hole in the large flat part of the whiteline insert with a hole saw first to make sure I didn't have any issues. I'm not sure how if it would have been the same without doing so.

My thoughts are that the idling is killing the MPGs. Even with the ecoboot if I've filled up within the past 20-30 miles I can see the MPG dropping just waiting for the gate to open for a minute or so. I couldn't imaging idling it for 20 minutes daily.

The tire with the higher speed rating is built with either tighter tolerances or better materials to allow it to handle higher speed/heat. If you are just commuting with your car either should be fine. The only reason I would go with the higher speed rating tire is if you drive...

I didn't take pictures but I ended up cutting the electrode on my kit in half with some small wire cutters to get them to fit better. I haven't had an issue in over a year since doing so.

You could try plastic welding with a soldering iron and zip ties as well since it doesn't have to be pretty. My first choice would probably be model glue or super glue.
