That red line sucks. Luckily no issue like that for me. I did have it where the screen didn't come on at all and the buttons didn't work. I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery and the problem hadn't been back in a month.

I have the scosche and wish I could have kept the factory HVAC controls as well. It's nice just being able to crank a knob instead of pushing buttons. I'm guessing they did it this way since the screen is used for settings.

What did you do regarding the microphone for phone calls? Is there a way to keep the factory one or did you use one that came with your head unit?

I thought it had been an add on cost to his lifetime tune but I don't see that on the website now.

I think the old wisdom was to do it every time you get a new set of tires. I normally don't though unless I do suspension work. It is probably not necessary but wouldn't hurt while changing wheels. That ~$65 could save you $100s in tires.

Man, I like my gadgets but holy cluttered windshield Batman! Nice to see this can be added after the fact though. Any reason to go with this over the factory option or just the cost? Personally I don't see as much value in this now that I have a backup camera.

In the stage 3 speaker install video they're installing coaxial in the door and leaving the stock tweeter. I would do it that way and not add an extra crossover. Not sure how it will sound though.

I'm guessing the hybrid will be a version of the Ecoboost 4. They already have it up to 350/350 in the focus RS, a 100 HP electric motor and it will have more or than the outgoing GT, while leaving some extra room and weight for electric motors and batteries.
