How long does the clutch last on these cars on average for a good driver versus someone who's harder on the clutch? Being my first manual car, I really have no concept.

If creep assist is too fast for traffic, then what other techniques are there? I'm talking situations where you go from stop, to 2 mph for 20 feet, to stop, and repeat for miles.

I love those, unfortunately the nearest one is about 25 minutes away. I've been thinking about opening one in my area as I think there would be a huge demand for it.

It's not laziness....I live in Wisconsin, so hand-washing at home is not an option this time of year, where it's usually well below freezing every day. I'd rather go to an "ineffective" car wash frequently and get all the salt and dirt off than let it go all winter without cleaning it at all...

For most of us who daily drive our cars, what figure matters more? What makes a car fun on the road to me is how fast it can take off from a light, or how fast it can accelerate on an onramp getting on the expressway. 0-100 times and quarter-mile terms are basically useless in everyday driving...

Why not wash it now? I've been washing mine in 15-20 degree weather without hand-drying and haven't had any issues with doors freezing. Most car washes around here are open if it's warmer than 10 degrees or so. It hasn't been above freezing for a long time, and I couldn't wait that long to wash...

Wondering your thoughts on using a car wash with tracks / conveyors for the wheels. I have the 20" wheels so the risk of damage to the wheels seems greater. Are these types of car washes generally safe to use in terms of not damaging the wheels?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't there there's been any model year (including the first model year) where a six- or four-cylinder engine wasn't offered in the Mustang. It's always been offered with other engines, so not sure where the V8-only mentality comes from. Some years (1974), there...
