Does anyone here have any experience with the fit and quality of Coverking leatherette seat covers? I'd like to get a reasonably priced custom fit seat cover that I can install myself.

So how can you downshift without rev matching? Are people just slowly letting out/slipping the clutch and gradually letting the revs increase? I thought that was one of the worst things you could do in terms of wearing out a clutch prematurely?

I have been there and dimmed it but did not see the turn screen off option. Do I just touch the screen to turn it back on then?

Is there a way to totally turn off the screen in the Premium models? I like the cabin dark when I'm driving at night, and the dim modes don't help much. Is there any way to totally turn off the screen?

Ruby Red would make it the ultimate Lincoln package.

While I'm glad it's selling well, I'll miss having one of the only ones on the road. I've still seen only a handful of S550s in my area since I got mine in December.

It seems to be very slow. Are these actual options? Like the chrome paint? How is this different than build and price?

The Pony Package has a chrome window surround and side stripes, so the one in the photos can't be it.

Agreed. I think most of us here prefer the styling and interior of the S550 over the S197, otherwise we wouldn't be on this forum. The S550 is the first Mustang (other than the 1st gen) that I've been interested in, as I've never really cared for the styling of any Mustang from the 2nd...

With power, torque, 0-60, and quarter mile figures so similar, I don't know how you could not compare these two engines. I think some people just don't want to admit that their engine can be beat by another engine with fewer cylinders and smaller displacement, and they somehow feel threatened...

The EcoBoost and the 4.6L Modular V8 Mustangs appear very similar on paper, so wondering if anyone has any actual experience or thoughts about these two in terms of straight line acceleration. Which is faster?

OP here, I have a manual and I probably shift at roughly the same points no matter what mode I'm driving in. However, I probably accelerate somewhat faster with Sport+ mode given the sensitivity of the throttle, so it seems reasonable that it would consume more fuel due to faster acceleration...
