  1. Current Build Week 10/26/2014 aint got no car thread

I know it's tough not to, but just a reminder to not get too frustrated when COTUS shows in transit since that might not be the case. My Mustang was delivered two days ago and COTUS still shows in transit. You never know, yours could be unloading from the car carrier at your dealer right now...
  2. EAA $750

Can I use the EAA discount after agreeing on price at the time of order but before taking delivery? I'm leasing and will take delivery next week. It would be great if I can use this.
  3. Engine Debate

Agreed. In another thread some people were saying they were spending up to 25% of their income to get a GT. Some still lived with parents. No thanks.
  4. Incentives & Rebates

The dealer and I agreed to the price (about $500 below invoice) when I ordered the car a few months ago. Is it too late to sign up for EAA and use the $750 before I take delivery next week? I'm also leasing in case that matters.
  5. "Current Build Week" 10/26/2014 tracking thread

It's apparently at a remote secure facility owned by the dealer, so my visits will be limited
  6. "Current Build Week" 10/26/2014 tracking thread

Just got the email from my dealer saying that my Mustang finally arrived! BUT, the all season tires I'm putting on it right away are on backorder and won't be in for two weeks. Since I'm swapping the tires out on an even exchange, I can't drive it around on the summer tires it comes with (nor...
  7. Performance Package Question

IMO your average daily driver is not going to get that much value out of the upgraded brakes. If your tracking it, sure it makes sense. The standard brakes are totally adequate for ordinary driving though.
  8. Lease residuals revealed.

61% of MSRP in 36 months, not 24.
  9. "Current Build Week" 10/26/2014 tracking thread

So what happens when the EDD comes and goes? My EDD was today (that's not going to happen) and now the EDD and countdown have disappeared. Do we get a new EDD or are we just even more in the dark at this point?
  10. Fair Deal on Tire Exchange with Dealer?

Thanks for the recommendation. That's the tire I'll go with. The dealer agreed to do an even exchange and mount and balance for free. Always good advice on these forums. I'm still curious what the dealer does with the traded in tire and how they get value for it.
  11. Best all-season tire

What wheels do you have? I could only find two options for the 20" wheels.
  12. 2015 Owners-Biggest Surprises/Disappointments so far

Then give the customers the option of which tires come from the factory on a chosen set of wheels. A lot of buyers are never going to track their car or push it to its handling limits and all seasons are perfectly fine for the what most of us will use our car for--commuting and running errands...
  13. The S550 that should have been!!

That is approaching Camaro levels of ugly
  14. Fair Deal on Tire Exchange with Dealer?

I couldn't find any Michelin tires in the size I need, 265/35R20, or any brand other than Continental for that matter.
  15. Fair Deal on Tire Exchange with Dealer?

I'm planning on using all seasons year-round and don't want a second set of tires, so I don't feel like I'm losing money but I don't want to walk away from value either. I guess I just don't know what a set of these tires with 5 miles on them is worth as a bargaining chip.
  16. Fair Deal on Tire Exchange with Dealer?

I'm hopefully a few days away from taking delivery on my Mustang with optional 20" wheels and Pirelli P Zero summer tires. As it’s currently snowing outside, I’m planning on putting all-season tires on it before I drive it off the lot. Unfortunately, I can find only two options for all-season...
  17. Reaction After Test Driving an EcoBoost PP

Although I know winter tires are the best and safest option, I'm looking at putting Continental ExtremeContact DWS (Dry Wet Snow) all season tires on year-round. I've read very good reviews about their performance in snow. I'm generally able to wait until the roads have been plowed to make my...
  18. Leather seats after a few years

I thought the sides of the seats were vinyl to prevent cracking?
  19. All Season Tire Options for the 20" Wheels

Thanks, the ProContact TX is more expensive but do you know if it would be better in winter than the ExtremeContact DWS?
  20. 19's vs 20's

Yeah I'm trying to find all seasons for my 20" wheels...there are only two options that I can find, both are Continentals.
