It's weird to see the Mach 1 HP stop faster then the GT350R when it weighs 108 lbs more, including 60 lbs of rotating mass in heavier wheels, and it has smaller brakes (the GT350R has 15.5-inch front and 14.9-inch rear rotors).

Durability of the engine is probably the Mach 1's main advantage.

At the end of the day these cars are driven by humans so a 0.4 second gap is within the margin of error. I wouldn't bet money on the Mach 1 being "better" than the GT350R but for mere mortals looking for a track toy it's within the margin of error to say it's "as good".

I agree with @ShelbyMike21 - I've heard Walnut Creek and Morgan Hill are both good.

I was not able to keep up with a stock M3 Competition at Thunderhill in my GT350 with Michelin PS4S tires. Maybe I could now that I have PSC2 tires. In any case I agree with @VictorH that is a surprising result, though like-for-like tires would make the M3Cx faster than the Mach 1 or GT350R.

The original owner of my GT350 purchased a 5 year, 75k mile Ford PremiumCARE extended warranty for it. I can see on the Oasis report that it’s still active and I can see the prior owner’s name. The warranty was purchased 12/30/2020. The car was then traded in to a Chevrolet dealer a week later...

If your engine implodes, change the filter to a FL-2087 afterwards, before you take it in for the warranty claim.
