  1. Wiper Blades

You can't change the shape, they are spring steel. But that's not the problem anyway, they are not very stiff and aren't pushing the arm away from the window, the arm is holding the blade away from the window. Bending the arms axially won't help but they do seem to need to be bent...
  2. Wiper Blades

Thanks. Doesn't look like they have anything different than the stock style. I checked the rain-x site (they seem to be the top rated wiper and are readily available retail) and sure enough they don't have the 2021 Mustang listed at all. Not sure what's different but seems stupid not to use a...
  3. Wiper Blades

I was looking for new wiper blades for my 2021 GT, and many places and brands don't list anything. I saw one reference in the forum to an odd attachment style. Can someone explain what is different about the Mustang, and what years are compatible? I have an issue with my 2021 GT where the...
  4. Wiper blades don't touch the glass in upright position - how to fix it?

Rhyanski did you get this fixed? I have the same problem, it was this way from the day I bought it. The issue is not chatter, the center of the blade simply doesn't touch the windshield when at the top, both sides. I took it to the dealer yesterday and they verified the problem but had no idea...
  5. Mild square setup, no poke

I'm more concerned with odometer error; speedometers are usually intentionally high, whereas the odometer is not. But it's still not a lot, and I'd rather be off that way than the other way.
  6. Mild square setup, no poke

I assume tire rack uses the mfg specified measuring width, which is 9 for the 255 and 9.5 for the 265. But I don't think that impacts the tread width as much as the section width anyway.
  7. Mild square setup, no poke

    Looks great.
  8. Mild square setup, no poke

Thanks, good to know there is plenty of clearance even with 10" wheels. I hadn't looked at the GT500 wheels; looks like they extend 11 mm farther inward than the Mach 1 wheels.
  9. Mild square setup, no poke

Thanks both for the good info. I actually created a spreadsheet with all the stock specs, as well as measured the clearance on mine, and calculated what widths and offsets should fit for sure (except I don't know which ones poke, the Mach 1 HP stick out a lot more than the others). Along with...
  10. Mild square setup, no poke

There are a million threads here, mostly about the largest sizes that can be fitted. I'm just trying to figure out a more reasonable setup than what I have -- a base GT, 235/50r18 (27.25" diameter), stock suspension. Square No rubbing concerns No poke Preferably no spacers Reasonable ride, etc...
  11. 255/40/19 on a wider wheel than stock

The 255/40/19 is typically spec'd for an 8.5-10" wheel.
  12. The white rectangular "block" is back...

I assume this is what I've been seeing the past week, an ad pops up inside a big box that blocks the whole screen and can't be closed even if you click on the ad? After a while it goes away on it's own, but It's really really annoying, enough to drive a person to another forum.
  13. Base GT track day limits

Thanks for all the info. It does appear that the 2021 brake redesign helps quite a bit, but of course it's still not close to the PP upgrade.
  14. Helmets for glasses

Interesting, I didn't even think about that option, thanks.
  15. Helmets for glasses

Thanks, I have been struggling with which type of helmet to get. All my glasses have curved temples and I didn't realize how much more difficult even a slight curve makes. I just happened to see an ad for the Cocoons right before I saw your post; weird.
  16. Base GT track day limits

The one other thing that concerns me though is the mention of the master cylinder failing. I don't see that mentioned as much, but obviously that would be a big problem. But why does this happen? It's disturbing to think that could be an issue with a new car, it has to be able to withstand...
  17. Base GT track day limits

I would love to see your car. Now that the events at UMC are on Wednesdays it will be a little hard for me to go, especially since they are so early. As the year progresses I'd hope they would make them later. But looks like you're talking about the SCCA events. I'm hesitant to try those...
  18. Base GT track day limits

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I'm humbled to be able to get it from people with such experience. I'm sorry this stirred up some disagreements, but with everything there are differing opinions. I was seriously considering selling the car but will hold off for now. I did another track...
