I don't like either hybrid or electric technology on sports cars. The reason is exhaust and engine sound. When you start a Mustang V8 or a Ferrari the first thing you like is how the engine sounds. When you accelerate, how the engine and exhaust sounds. What's the fun with an electric motor...
Then, why did you choose a V6? A couple of years ago my budget was around $25 to $27K and I could've gotten into a V6 S550 or maybe a base EB, but I couldn't stand the fact that it wasn't a V8, so I was lucky enough to find a low-mileage '10 with color/package I wanted and chose it over the non...
I'm starting to lose hope that the 2018 is going to be revealed in Detroit. By this time we should have already seen either a leaked photo or a teaser. :(
"I'm guessing we should see the first teaser the day after Christmas maybe?"
I was thinking the same thing. The NAIAS is less than 3 weeks from now and there's not a single leaked image or a teaser. It's making me doubt if the car will be revealed at Detroit. Maybe they are planning NY.
If they do go with the 4.8, they'll probably use the GT badges again. Either way, if it's natural aspirated, 400+ hp and V8, I care not of its displacement.
I love how the car looks from the rear. I love those tri-bar taillights. The interior is very handsome, but I just can't get over that Fusionesque front-end and those generic fog lights. I love how the 2010-12s look retro yet modern. My favorite look so far. The GT350 is another story. The...
I sure you that if you go to Ford's website in the Super Duty section, you'll see the MT award they won a few days ago as part of their marketing strategy. When the Camaro was on hiatus, the 2005-09 Mustang was virtually unchanged for those 5 years. When the Challenger and Camaro were reborn...
I was there yesterday. Awesome like always. I'll be going to the lame SD show in late December just to continue the tradition as I've been going non-stop since 1994. The SD show was awesome in the 90s and early 2000s. The LA auto show became a major show in 2007 and I've been going non-stop since.
These are some serious upgrades. I think Ford was butthurt by all the praises the Camaro 6 received from journalist including MT's Car of the Year award and now Ford is firing back which it's great for all of us. Any word on interior changes?
