It would be sad to see the name go, but I wouldn't mind as I actually call this current car GT350 more than Shelby. Also, the S197s Shelbys I usually call them Cobra more then Shelby, so as long as they keep the Cobra logo and name, I'm good.
Easy answer. Just wait for the 2018 reveal which could be in about 3 weeks in LA or in a couple of months in Detroit. If you don't like the 2018, you can still place an order for a 2017 until late March or buy one from the lot.
Very nice pics. Love the Shelby letter's color matching the stripes. Race Red with white stripes and Lighting Blue with white stripes are my favorite colors for the GT350.
The 2005 Mustang was introduced at the NAIAS in 2004. The 2010 Mustang was introduced at the 2008 LA Auto Show. The 2013 Mustang was introduced at the 2011 LA Auto Show. The 2015 Mustang was introduced at a special event on December of 2013 in New York, so just for fun. When and where do you...
Man!! I was going to keep mine until it died (advise from The Millionaire Next Door) book, but I'll probably ignore the advice of buying an expensive car :D and pull the trigger on the 2018 because is looking promising. Quad exhaust, more power and LED headlights, uuutttssss
If premium is not that important to you, I'd get the base with PP. My '10 is my first manual and I have the 3.73 gears and is a blast to drive. You get accustomed to the faster gears in no time. Also, I'd wait for the 2018 to be revealed. Some times Ford adds extra goodies to the base models.
Great pics guys!! Hopefully I can make it to the next one.
Question, Can a Challenger join the next cruise? :paddle: Hahaha I showed the pics to my friend and he'd like to come with me to the next one in his car. I told him I'll ask you guys :o
By the title, I thought it was going to be a sad story about trading in your GT for a Honda or something. Congratulations on the beast. I can only dream at this stage in my life to own one.
I'd love a GT350 for all the reasons you stated. I'm very intrigued about the changes to the 2018 GT and I was planing on purchasing one if I like the changes. At the same time I was thinking to purchase instead a used 2016 GT350, but I made the mistake (carwise speaking) of reading the book...
I like turbos on 6 and 4 cylinder engines but not on a V8. This is the reason I would choose the 458 Italia vs the 488. I hate the sound of a turbo whistle on a V8. I would choose Audi's 4.2L V8 over their 4.0 V8 TFSI any day of the week. Hopefully Ford's turbo V8 is for the GT500 and leave the...
It's very funny how many people think they know more than a publication that does what they do for a living. As a teen (during mid to late 90s) I used to hate CR because I grew up being a Ford and VW fanboy and I hated when I bought their magazines that Fords and VWs had either the full black...
I don't think the sale numbers of the Mustang GT here in the US and around the world can be considered a small group. Ninety-nine percent of GT, Mach1, Bullitt and GT350/500 buyers are auto enthusiasts. We all buy V8 Mustangs not only for power but for its exhaust note and engine roar at an...
