Well I'll be getting the track pack so instead of the terrible white-out I'll get the tiny old screen inside a sea of buttons. :)

I'm sure the brightness can be adjusted but it will still be a big white screen. The contrast between the buttons and the background would be even harder to see and it will still clash with the rest of the interior. It's a terrible design choice IMO. I'm actually kind of surprised it got through...

never mind the responsiveness, what were they thinking with those colors? I remember when they first showed sync3 with that all white screen. I thought for sure that was just a generic pre-production color scheme that they were using for development - no way would it show up in actual cars...

Except it makes it harder for those of us who actually want to use it for its intended purpose to find one. :) On the other hand, there probably aren't enough actual track customers to justify making the car in the first place.

It's true they're different cars for different purposes but that doesn't stop people from buying both. I'd say that most people, including many on this site are buying the 350 just because it looks cool and it's the latest and greatest, not because of what it was designed for. They'll never see...
