Would you post some photos of your setup, especially around the rear? I got a pair of 18x10 Welds for drag radials to pair with my 20x9/20x10.5 Weld set-up. I'm running Falken FK510s 255/35 and 295/35. , and I recommend these tires.

I have similar symptoms with my 11,000 miles 2021 Mach 1 A10, except the scope of my symptoms has grown to nearly all downshifts. The symptoms became known around gear 4 downshifts but have since grown to the upper gears as well. My local dealership has requested a full transmission replacement...

$760~ish for the hood decal alone. I should have gotten the whole hood protected. Ugh.

Try another dealer. My friends A10 Mach 1 needed full replacement at 12,000 miles or so. The dealer cost for the transmission was under $3k, plus fluid and install time.

Question for the group, were your clunky shifts also loud? My Mach 1's 4 to 5, 5 to 4 shifts are loud and clunky.

Thank you for the tips. I didn't know that the torque converter would go up that high. My Mach 1 is an A10. Yes to the burn out box. I love burn outs. No wheel hop that I could detect but I'll admit that I wouldn't know what to feel for, I'm new to drag racing.
