Ahaha, it would be a fab nightmare to fit two of these things. I really did not expect it to be this big...the plan is to use the front bumper support as a brace :cwl:
Don't think you can delete the ABS module with it. That said, I'll be doing my own delete...doesn't seem to difficult. I'll post it up if people would like when I'm finished.
Or if anyone has close
Thanks buddy. Secondary is the feeling of a mechanical pedal...I do find it appealing to feel more travel and the actual tension rather than having a shorter stroke on the pedal.
Ya I saw that one and was wondering if it could be run without ABS. I'll reach out to them but also figured I'd see if anyone knew of another route. Thanks!
Thought this might be the best forum to ask as I know some guys run/prefer manual brakes for track.
Has anyone done one for an S550? Iām finding ABS delete plates for every chassis but ours.
Thanks for the reminder that I AM actually getting older; saw a pic on Facebook in darker lighting and it looked red to me. Next thing I know I wonāt be able to drive at night š
Some good newsā¦Frankenstein and MMR should have parts out by the end of the week. I also asked Frankenstein about the...
Hey all, think this might be a long shot but worth giving a try. I purchased MR's lightweight steering column; I wanted to use it on the stock power rack, given the cost of the flaming river and the miniscule weight savings. However, for the life of me I cannot find u-joints to make this work...
Same old story. Parts slowly coming in. Did another upgrade for the tranny. A package from MMR scheduled tomorrow and Saturday. Not high hopes as they arenāt very heavy. However..Iāve been pondering the wrap. REALLY tempted to do a swap for this instead of the redā¦we've already got the Roadcone...
Contemplating going billet for my build, however I see a lot of high power setups running the stock ones...in a lot of other "tuning" worlds, billet caps are usually a standard replacement when shooting for a decent power level. Any guys running quite a bit of power through the stock cast units?
If you went this route, you would change the s550 game in a lot of ways. A big undertaking but man would that be awesome, especially if it can handle a decent amount of power.
Confirmed with Coan that the converter is a sprag unit....and the freaking stall speed is 65-6600. I'm honestly a bit upset and hoping JPC makes this right. Even between a sprag and spragless unit, this should have been spragless as it won't be street driven, and it'll tear that sprag up with...
