  1. If you ain't first, you're last; 7 second S550 build

Ahaha, it would be a fab nightmare to fit two of these things. I really did not expect it to be this big...the plan is to use the front bumper support as a brace :cwl:
  2. ABS delete?

Correct, which is why I'll be using Aerospace's setup--that's what I was referring to.
  3. ABS delete?

Don't think you can delete the ABS module with it. That said, I'll be doing my own delete...doesn't seem to difficult. I'll post it up if people would like when I'm finished.
  4. ABS delete?

I contacted Aerospace; I'll update the thread when I get a response back!
  5. ABS delete?

Or if anyone has close Thanks buddy. Secondary is the feeling of a mechanical pedal...I do find it appealing to feel more travel and the actual tension rather than having a shorter stroke on the pedal.
  6. ABS delete?

Ya I saw that one and was wondering if it could be run without ABS. I'll reach out to them but also figured I'd see if anyone knew of another route. Thanks!
  7. ABS delete?

Not trying to just disable, trying to remove the system completely.
  8. ABS delete?

Thought this might be the best forum to ask as I know some guys run/prefer manual brakes for track. Has anyone done one for an S550? I’m finding ABS delete plates for every chassis but ours.
  9. If you ain't first, you're last; 7 second S550 build

Yeaaaaa boyyyyyyyys. Looks like I should be heading to NC here in about 3 weeks.
  10. If you ain't first, you're last; 7 second S550 build

Thanks for the reminder that I AM actually getting older; saw a pic on Facebook in darker lighting and it looked red to me. Next thing I know I won’t be able to drive at night šŸ˜‚ Some good news…Frankenstein and MMR should have parts out by the end of the week. I also asked Frankenstein about the...
  11. Highest power level on stock main caps?

It'd be solid if it comes to fruition. Really solid median between having to go full billet and sleeving a stock block.
  12. Help! Motion raceworks lightweight steering column

Hey all, think this might be a long shot but worth giving a try. I purchased MR's lightweight steering column; I wanted to use it on the stock power rack, given the cost of the flaming river and the miniscule weight savings. However, for the life of me I cannot find u-joints to make this work...
  13. Highest power level on stock main caps?

I don’t think it’s for sale yet is it? I haven’t seen it anywhere.
  14. If you ain't first, you're last; 7 second S550 build

Same old story. Parts slowly coming in. Did another upgrade for the tranny. A package from MMR scheduled tomorrow and Saturday. Not high hopes as they aren’t very heavy. However..I’ve been pondering the wrap. REALLY tempted to do a swap for this instead of the red…we've already got the Roadcone...
  15. Highest power level on stock main caps?

should be 1600-1700 wheel. Going to more than likely be limited by fuel. I know the snot rocket mustang has run stock caps at 1700+.
  16. Highest power level on stock main caps?

Contemplating going billet for my build, however I see a lot of high power setups running the stock ones...in a lot of other "tuning" worlds, billet caps are usually a standard replacement when shooting for a decent power level. Any guys running quite a bit of power through the stock cast units?
  17. AWD 2017 Mustang GT Conversion

If you went this route, you would change the s550 game in a lot of ways. A big undertaking but man would that be awesome, especially if it can handle a decent amount of power.
  18. If you ain't first, you're last; 7 second S550 build

Hahaha, I am slowly learning this as I take the car apart. Few other things I should have used anti-seize on that I had to manhandle.
  19. If you ain't first, you're last; 7 second S550 build

Confirmed with Coan that the converter is a sprag unit....and the freaking stall speed is 65-6600. I'm honestly a bit upset and hoping JPC makes this right. Even between a sprag and spragless unit, this should have been spragless as it won't be street driven, and it'll tear that sprag up with...
